They called again - 3/22

They won't stop

Caller didn't leave a message.  Didn't pick up since I didn't recognize the number.  Callback revealed this was Comcast Telemarketing Dept.

Just got call from this number today. I didn't answer it as my cell was on silent. when I called the number back I got a recording saying it was Comcast Telemarketing department. The recording told me to leave a message. I was very tempted to leave a nasty message but refrained. I will tell them off if they call me again.

Do not wish to receive these calls.

Received a call this evening @ 6:45pm. No one answered when I picked up. I called back and it was Comcast telemorketing voicemail.

Calls at least 3 times a week, one day it was back to back. I don't want Comcast phone service, I like my vonage just fine. Very annoying!

This number called today as well and on the Caller ID is says COMCASTCABLE. I answered and they wanted the one whose name is on the cable bill (in this case my father in law) and he left me a toll free number to call back about discounts. Is this legit? Does anyone know?

Actually the do not call lists do not apply if
1. you have comcast cable tv
2. you have comcast internet
3. you have comcast phone

as with all three instances it says in the fine print when you signed up that you allow them to market you

and finally
4. if you never specifically opted out of receiving spam from their third party partners (who can be anyone buying your name and phone number from them)

I have been receiving calls from the number every few days for several weeks.

Call made at 3:40 PM on June 7, 2010.  ID said Comcastcable.  We discontinued our service with cable between 2 to 4 months ago.

Called 6/18/10 11:07 AM  Left no message.

They called me yesterday, after reading these posts I called it back.  It was indeed Comcast.  Since I used to be a customer the DNC list doesn't count.  I left them a message with my phone number to take me off their telemarketing list.  We'll see if it works!

678-393-7960.  I receive crank calls all the time and I'm fed up.  Here is the info I gathered for this number:

I hope this helps stop this kind of harrassment and if they check these forums let them know that they can't hide

Called, left no message.  Have called repeatedly, big pain!  I wouldn't give them my business even if I wanted it.
