Left a message saying from the financial crimes divsion. Division of what? A case being downloaded in my county? Are court cases now downloaded? Don't they still file cases? Sounds like a croc of s**t to me.

These people have been calling me for months now. My Caller ID says Legal Mediation. I cannot believe they did not leave me a message this time. They have always left a message. This is also the first time this number has been used for me. It must be one of their new numbers. I have over 38 of their numbers blocked from my phone right now. Do not give these people any money. They are low-life scum and they are lying to get people to give them money that is not owed. Report them to your local police and also make a report online at the FBI Internet Crime website. I recommend not answering. If you do, they can be very rude and vicious and mean. They try to intimidate you, especially if you are a female. Upon my own investigation, I am finding that this scam has been going on for years now. Get yourself a good Call Blocker.

Yes, it is a crock of "sh..."! I cannot believe how many people they intimidate. They have been doing this for a long time now so it must be profitable for them. They do not download a case. They never say what county. I called the State Attorney General's off in Michigan and he just laughed. First, they do not call you if you are going to be arrested. Either the police or a rep from the court brings you a summons and serves you in person. Do not give them any money.

I have been having some financial difficulties.  I have been receiving collection calls.  I have made arrangements with everyone who has called me only to find out that I've been a sucker of the highest order and gave money to scammers!  I am an idiot.  800notes has gone a long way to pointing me in the direction of how to figure out who is legit and who is not.  I'm out about $1500 and do not want to lose anymore for having a knee jerk reaction to people threatening to have me arrested.   I will add this number to my scammer list.  Thank you so much for posting.
