678-681-1899 called Apr 28, 2014 at 3:12pm. Caller ID = OUT OF AREA, which is normally SPAM.  Thanks 800notes participants, I know it has something to do with credit cards or collections. This is not for me.  This caller is BLOCKED.

Too many calls

Called at 1:48pm on 4/29/14.   Caller ID showed "Georgia Call,"    from number 678-681-1899.   My answering machine picked up and recorded the robocall.   A very poor quality recording of a female voice offering to lower my credit card rates.  

Spiel went as follows:  "[Unintelligible word, sounded like "titelery"] Services.  I'm calling in regard to your present credit [word sounded like either "calling" or "credit"]  card account.  Your account is currently up to date, however to continue to  be eligible to lower your interest rate to as little as 6.9[8]%, you must call us as soon as possible.  Your eligibility expires soon, so please consider this to be a final notice.   To speak with a representative to lower your interest rate, press one.   To discontinue notices, press five.   Thank you. "  

I'd love to consider this their final notice, but somehow I doubt it.

Like I said, the quality of the recording was really bad.  If I get a repeat, I guess I'll just block the whole 678 area code.   Naturally, I'm on the DNC so may file a complaint with the FTC, as I'm prone to acts of futility.

Fort Myers, Florida must be a haven for credit card scammers. I'am on the do not call list but that doesn't bother them. This was a missed call number, 678-681-1899 on my phone . Of course they didn't leave a voice message nor have the they the numerous times they have called. They are now a blocked number in my phone system so when they call agin they will get one ring and then a hang up.

Sign up for nomorobo. It cuts them off after the first ring. Also complain to the FTC and use the call blocking features of whatever phone service you use. fight back!

Just called...didn't answer.  No message left.

We were left a voice mail on May 2, asking what "they" could bring to the funeral.  The female voice was strange and unintelligable for the most part.  The phone number and person are not known by us.  We believe they may have been calling because of  funeral notices placed in papers in various SC cities.

Received a call from 678-681-1899.  Caller id said 'Atlanta GA'.  I never answer calls from numbers I don't recognize, but I did search for the number.  Surprise, surprise, the first entry in the search results was for 800notes.com.  They only way these SOBs are ever going to stop is if people stop answering.  Complaining about the do not call list is useless, since compliance is voluntary and these criminals are hardly going to care about that.  

Received call from 678-681-1899 when I answered there was a recording stating that reps were busy and to hold. I hung up and called that phone number back. A woman with the last name KENNEDY answers and said I have a credit card with an interest rate over 10% and I qualify for a lower rate. When I asked what company was it she stated CREDIT CARD SERVICES. I asked where they got my information she said from credit bureau, which one, she didn't know. WARNING

Didn't pick up. No message.

Please stop calling me.

Called but left no message.

Just called...didn't answer.  No message left. Blocked the number.

This number called about 6 hours ago and saw the number in my Ooma call log. The phone never rang. Nomorobo blocked the call for me THANK YOU.
