Just received a phone call from 678-701-8027 as soon as I answered they hang up, when I return the call they hang up.  I too placed an ad on craig's list under motorcycle for sell.

National Motor Sales spammers.  They spam auto ads out of Auto Trader and Craigslist, call you up and lie to you about having a buyer, finanacing, etc.  They try to get you to give them your credit card number so they can charge you for BS marketing services which are all lies and non-existant.

unwanted calls from this number. i had an add awhile back on carsonline and craigslist.they keep calling and say nothing. hanging up

Yep I got the calls too and I have an ad on Craigslist!!

Just received a call from 678-701-8027 during lunch hour.  Didn't recognize the number so didn 't answer it. But came back to work and looked it up on got on to this site.  Thanks for the heads up, i do have an expired ad on Craigslist so they're hitting some archival listings.

These jerks call every other day, I answer and they hang up, SO annoying! It started 4 days after posting an add on craigslist.

I too received a call from 678-701-8027, when I answered there was no one there.  This was after I had posted an item for sale on Craigs List. I have received other calls over the past few days, but the number has been 'unavailable'.  Could they be related?

I get calls from this number but no one is on the line.  A call returned to this number automatically hangs up before the call is answerd.  I also have a Craigslist lising.  Spammers for sure.

Thi is the second call I've received from them.  I did not return their call.  The guy on the voicemail kept stammering in his solicitation, which made me feel he was trying to con me.  Also, if my bike is undervalued against KBB value, why dont' they buy it and then flip it for a profit themselves?

They called me after i posted my jet ski on craigslist i answered and they imediatley hung up when i tried to call back it said the number was no longer in service.

These idiots are calling me too. When I call back they do not answer. They need to be stopped.  They probably got my number from craiglist. I got a call from the 678-701-8027 and also from an 800 number something about National Motor Marketing.

Shortly after activating an add on craiglist I got a call from 678 701 8027 a soon as I aswered it they hung up. Craiglist sucks they need more controlled over they website.

A male identified himself as "Bailey from the research center." Had seen the ad for my motorcycle, said it was listed below the blue-book price and that they could help me sell it. My B.S. meter was going off big time, so I checked the phone number on the Internet when I got home. Sure enough, the call was apparently from a scammer trying to get me to call back to spend money with them to advertise my bike. I didn't talk to them. BEWARE.

I have been getting calls from this number also. I answer, they hang up. I call back, operator says the number 678-701-8027 has been disconnected or no longer in service. This is odd. I too have placed ads on Craigslist.

They are still at it. August 12, 2010, they are calling my cell after posting a motorcycle on Craigslist. I answered, nobody on line. Thought I would google the number and found this thread. Thanks for the info guys, I will be spreading the news about these idiots trying to scam people.

don't even think about using these spammers...  they just want lots of money for doing nothing!
