No ID; No message; No idea why the call, No interest in calls that do not identify themselves!!

Harassing call asking for social security number and photo I'd for Esurance - Total Scam

Called requesting social security id and photo I'd - complete scam  / BLOCK & DELETE #

This call came from E-Trade Financial verifying transaction activity to ensure that it was me that actually initiated it.  This was a legitimate phone call.

Valid eTrade call.  I contacted customer service yesterday and today wrg to tax info and obtain both reps ID#.  Today i requested they call me back with an update and when she did I had her verify her rep ID, why i called previously and summary of our discussion earlier.  She passed and was extremely helpful resolving my inquiry.
Would be nice if the call type drop down box included a positive option or at least something more applicable to valid calls...

Was E*Trade discussing my recent activity on my account. Legitimate number and call.

I thought it was a scammer so I called Etrades support number on their website and they verified that it was a valid nuimber and e*trade agent calling about account activity.

What if you don't have an account?

If you don't have an account, then it's a suspicious call and likely a scammer using the valid eTrade phone number to make people believe they're valid eTrade personnel.

I get notices frequently about my "account at Bank of America --- will have to be locked unless I call in give my password" and also from Wells Fargo Bank.

I don't have an account at either. Case closed, no? It's obviously a phishing attempt.

Called Cell 8:30AM. Left Message--  Scam--told to go online and use CODE--www.QuickCashWire.com--said I have been selected and approved to receive Payday Loan.
