Another junk call I am sure..............careful people, do not give them any info.

Shame on these scammers.

Called and asked for husband.  When I asked who it was they hung up on me.

i asked who it was they just hung up, they called a short while later i said hello they still hang up

have received several unsolicited calls from the above number

Did not answer

do not know who it is do not answer

They called and asked for me. When my husband handed me the phone they had already hung up. Apparently all they wanted to do was verify the number so they can call back later.

For past three nights about 6:15 pm have received call from this  number. Caller ID says Not Available so let answering machine take call. Woman's voice said my full name. Then she said but other background voices made it tough to understand.  According to 800 numbers it's from a landline from Atlanta, GA, Fulton County.

They call super early in the morning. I didn't pick up.

I don't know who this is, but they called my husband's cell number and asked for me. When he said I wasn't home, they hung up. I called the number this morning from my blind line at work and of course got a recording, but part of it said if I didn't want any more solicitations, leave the number that was called. I would be very wary of these types of calls. There are just way too many scams out there. I work for a financial institution and I hear a different one every day.

Answered and they hung up immediately. 7:45 EST. Caller ID said "out of state."

got a call asking for the wife yesterday.  They said something to the affect of "because she was such a good customer she was going to receive a $100 gift card"   WHAT!  No one just GIVES away cash without a background motive (at least no business will)  When the wife asked who the company was, they, like the above comments stated, hung up.  The voice on the other end had a foreign accent.

Left no message. I don't answer calls form numbers I don't recognize.

Like others have written, I believe they are trying to verify the phone numbers. My guess is that verification is their business and they are doing this for other telemarketers, whose calls I am also not answering.

Just called my cell. I did not answer it. Looked it up and here I
am.

I've been receiving calls on my cell but I don't answer.

Is there anything we can do about these scammers.  They are bombarding people numerous times a day calling.  I even received one at my work number today.

they did the same to me now they call me like 3 times a day!!!!

Came up unavailable, so I didn't answer. DO NOT CALL

got a call this evening and they claimed to be for magazine subscriptions- couldn't tell me which one.  wanted to give me $100 gift card and free mags for 60 months because I was such a good customer.  only wanted $3 something for processing when I said that's a joke and she hung up.  I called the number back and got a machine that allowed me to put myself on the do not call list.  May work but if it doesn't I'll report them with their number
