calls ALL the time - several times a day

Asked for my hubby--"wanted to say thank you about something he knows about". I told them we are on the do not call list and told him that he may relay the info to me. The guy just told me he appreciated me and hung up. Aggravating!!!

These people have been calling me FOREVER!!!!!! They are rude, disgusting and do not respect my requests to stop calling me. I am a subscriber to the do not call list but that hasn't stopped these jerks!

I ECHO ALL THE OTHER COMPLAINTS. I DO NOT WANT THEM TO CALL ME. THEY ARE ANNOYING AND INTRUSIVE.

Called several times over the last couple of weeks. Never leaves a message.

These people are relentless.  There are hang ups from their number on our caller ID DAILY!!!!  Sometimes several times a day.  Unfortunately, I have given to many charitable organizations, and like others have found, they will never let loose of you again - no matter what.

i won't answer but never leave message and won't stop calling. i hate it!

Their format: They call, state they rep State Troopers, emergency med Techs Vets, etc... and ask for donation.Gold, Silver or Bronze- depending on Donation size. Next they let you talk to their supervisor who verifies info & tells you you will recieve package depending on donation in mail. It may be page of stickers with your address to use on (UGH) snail-mail and thank you letter asking you to donate more. AFTER you donate they will send YOUR INFO to EVERY CHARITY ORG ON THE PLANET AND YOUR PHONE WILL NOT STOP RINGING! THEY WILL NOT STOP & IGNORE REQUESTS TO REMOVE YOUR NUMBER OR TO STOP SHARING YOUR INFO.
 DO THEY ACTUALLY REP THESE ORGANIZATIONS? Maybe a call to complain to the orgs they 'Claim' to rep might get some action. Maybe some investigating from each of these organizations might help or maybe, just maybe... EVERYONE who is called by them try calling THEM back from 'ID BLOCKED' phones SEVERAL times a day. FLOOD THEIR LINES with incoming calls OR do the SAME to the Organizations THEY REPRESENT!
    FIGHT BACK! THIS IS BEYOND IRRITATING! IT IS ENRAGING! GOD HELP the poor, ignorant FOOL who EVER admits to me that THEY are, or were a DAMN TELEMARKETER!

Even if you do not pick-up; they will not stop calling - and at all hours of the day and night.

keep calling all the time

I get a call from these people every single day, starting from 8am until 9pm. Sometimes they only call once, other days its every two hours, whether or not I answer the phone and tell them that I'm not interested.
They claim to be from the Georgia State Troopers, requesting donations. Each time it's a different reason for the donations, once it was bullet-proof vests, another time it was something about adoptions, another time was just 'because' but I'd get a decal for my car.
I tried to find any information I could about why the GA State Troopers wouldn't even leave a message on my answering machine if they were so hard up for cash, then I found this little nugget of info that proves that it's all a scam:
"The Georgia State Patrol does not telemarket or solicit donations by mail or telephone.  There are several private organizations that solicit via telephone and mail but any money donated stays with that organization and does not go to the Georgia State Patrol.  All funding for the Georgia Department of Public Safety and the Georgia State Patrol is appropriated by the Georgia General Assembly."

Actually, if they are non-profit or a political group...they aren't breaking the law.

I've been getting these calls for a while now. Today I recieved 2 calls and when answer they always hang up on me. I made it clear in the past that I would never make the mistake of donating over the phone again so I'm assuming they are hoping to catch a woman on the phone. I called the number back in hopes of finally getting a hold of someone to put and end to it but all I got was a recording. I'm so sick of these calls.

They continue to call I never answer the calls thinking that they will leave a message on my answering machine but they never do.. They call 3 to 4 times a day...

My outgoing message says such calls will NOT be answered and take us off the their calling list.  I have made contributions to GA State Troopers but if one more call comes through, not any more.  If their call was important
they would leave a message.  They have become VERY annoying and not a professional way to ask for your support for the troopers.  The troopers support is going to lacking due to these calls.

Someone who has the ability needs to have this stopped for it brings negative attitudes for our troopers. they called but left no message

Just got a call from 658-846-0510, the caller ID said GTLOAAST, when I answered, there was certainly someone on the line, but they didn't say a word, and here I was like an idiot saying"Hello?" over and over, finally, I got fed up and hung up.  No idea who they were, or what they wanted.  We're on the Do-Not-Call list, but we still get all kinds of crazy people soliciting anyway.

Have recently begun to get calls from this same number.  The caller ID GTLOAAST.  I haven't answered yet, but the number continues to call.  It is quite irritating and should be illegal.

I just started receiving calls from this number this month (June, 2008). Until today I haven't answered. Today I answered and I could hear someone in the background talking to someone else, but they never said anything to me. After saying hello several times,I finally hung up. The times that I did not answer, the didn't even leave a message. I am suppose to be on the National Do not Call list, but that doesn't seem to stop anyone from calling.
