on hold forever wants you to key in a bunch of info never connects to live person just disconnects

robocall says calling about fraud on credit card ending in a last 4 digits of a real card I used to have.  Used the correct bank as well.  So I pressed one to speak to a real person.  On hold for a while, a real person gets on.  Says they need to verify information.  I said go ahead and tell me what you have.  Said no, I needed to supply it or call the number on the back of the card.  I said ok, what bank?  They again told me the correct bank.  I did not provide any information to the guy.  I told him I would call the number on the back of the card.  Called my real bank, it was a fraudulent call.  No alerts on my credit card.  DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION OUT.

message left on my voice mail on 24 Jun claiming to be from my bank and verified the last 4 digits of debit card.  They premise was that they were from my bank's fraud department and wanted to veriy information with me.  They asked me to call back at 800-214-7027,so I called the number which automatically went to a computer requesting me to enter my ten digit card number.  Not once did they identify themselves just wanted my bank card number.  SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!

First it is an automated call and then I had a live person come on line who first said "American Express Services" when the automated information said it was about Bank of America. Yes, he wanted information from me. Since he didn't even know which credit card company he was working for I ended the call. My bank had no record of any fraud or calls made. It is a scam. 678-929-6974 called on Sept. 8, 2015 Never Give Info. Call your bank.

Got a call from 678-929-6974 with caller-Id CRD SRVCS FRAUD.  When I answered, it sounded like a legit call from Bank of America -- but I was still leery.  So I called the number on the back of my card and asked for Fraud Dept.  After a couple transfers, I got them.  I gave them this story and the phone #.  They said (1) the # was a legit # from BofA seeking to  (2) verify info on my account (not alert to suspicious activity).  The rep didn't ask me for my info, but read my info to me, which I verified.
EVEN SO, I would recommend to anyone, do as I did: hang up and call the # on the back of your card to get the best (real?) story.  (Scammers can fake (spoof) the incoming call's Caller-ID -- both the number and the title.)  IF they really want to verify your info on their system (keep it up-to-date?), they should tell you what they have and you verify it; never give them the info.
