Most of the calls we get from the 682 area code are from telemarketing boiler rooms. The giveaway is the chatter in the background on the ones that leave messages and the multiple calls in the same day. As I do with all unknown numbers this number is now blocked.

Dear xxxx ~

I’m texting rather than call because I think it’s the best mode for efficient communication.

I’m in Decatur, TX and I had been considering moving to Dallas but several things went wrong.

The day after Christmas I was in downtown Dallas and got hit by lightning when getting into my car.

The lightning blew out the electronics like the battery, all stereo & CD function & Bluetooth function then very weirdly cracked the windshield.

I actually got hit more than once & was standing in 3-5” of rain water but had on shoes with a thick foam heel.

I went to the hospital days later because although otherwise ok, I had not slept in 8 days and was losing my brain function from lack of sleep.

After hospital stays in 3 different hospitals for almost a month total, I’m well but need to get back to ABQ since I haven’t produced any income in weeks.

I have my car but only $38 in my bank account and need $200 or so to get gas & snacks to get home and get gas to back to Uber work.

If you can spare $25 - 50 or ANY other amount I’ll send you my Wells Fargo bank info and repay you in a month or so.
