got a call from this number claiming to be a "trading post" cigarette company, (was an actually person on the other end) ..asked if i still smoke , told them that i dont and she said she would take my name off the list.. gotta love these scammers!!

received call from this number. they left no messages. recently put fraud alert on my credit. signed up and then cancelled att uverse, also have new att cell phone service but it is through straight talk. Also started working for pre-paid visa company. All seem to be common to the above post??????

Received a call from this number stating that my mom had purchased a vacation pkg back in dec for $217 and they were calling her to give her a $100 discount on that pkg and give her some extras. They said she had already paid for it and they would just need her to call this 800 number and give them some numbers on the back of her credit card. I figured it was a scam so be aware, they are frauds.

Scam line. Got call from number about mortgage mod.. Only problem is... I have no mortgage

My caller ID showed up as Reset.  I called back and a recording came on telling me "all circuits are busy"  May God help them if they call back.........................................

Just answered and a recording said it was the Master Card fraud Dept and they have locked my account and if I want my account reactivated to press 1. I looked up the # and found you here. I just blocked the call from coming again.

I got a call from this number and answered. Was an automated voice saying there was a block put on my mastercard due to fraudulent activity. Said to press 1 to unblock. I pressed 1. Voice said to press 1 to unblock or 2 to leave. I pressed 1. Voice said to enter the 16-digit number of my mastercard. They must really think people are STUPID!
The STRANGE thing is that my daughter got a similar call less than half an hour earlier from the number 555-555-5555. When she pressed 1 the call was disconnected. She let me know right away since the only MC she has is a paypal debit that I am cosigner on. PayPal does have both of our cell phone numbers for the text alerts so I'm going to call them and find out if their information has been compromised? Just thought it was quite the coincidence!

I recieved a call from this number and immediately was suspicious. I wish there was something that could be done by the phone companies to prosecute malicious BS like this!

701-509-8703 Called saying they were putting a security lock on my Master Card.  That there had been fraud on my card. Then said to  Press 1 to direct me to the proper department.  I don't even have a Master Card.

Male computer voice said that there was a fraud alert and that my pre-paid mastercard had been locked.  Then it said "for more information, press 2."  I pressed two and there was a female computer voice that said "to inquire about this card, press 1.  Hung up and called my bank and they did not show any records of any "hold" or "lock" on my card. Called the number back and got a recording saying all circuits are busy now, after i just made a call, Dont give any info scam, fraud, identity theft, etc...

got the same call as everyone else. 701 509 8703. didn[t answer and no voicemail.

Received three calls from this number in five minutes after midnight. By the time I woke up and found the phone it was gone. No response to call back

Called me and left no message.  Googled and found this page.  Added to block list on cell phone.

Number 701-509-8703 keeps calling my cell phone......never leaves a message and hangs up when I answer it. Unk who it is or what they want.

Got a call from this number today. Opted to not answer as I was still at work for a few minutes. If they call again am going to answer as a "law office".... see how that floats their boat.

This number was verified by my bank, Security Services Federal Credit Union, to be a fraud attempt.

NO credit institution will do this. If they need to call you, first and foremost it will very likely be from an 800 number. Second, there will be a human on the other end, not a poor Text-To-Speech program. Lastly, the HUMAN will verify that they have the right person. They will ask security questions such as date of birth, last four of your social, and anything else you may have set up.

WHEN IN DOUBT HANG UP AND CALL YOUR BANK DIRECTLY!!!!!!

Just recieved a call from this number, didn't answer it as I don't answer numbers I don't know, they left a message, but they didn't say anything, just left a breathing message.

I also got a call from 1-701-509-8703.  Said they were from Security Services Federal Credit Union saying due to fraudulent activity, my account had been closed and press #1 to continue.  I just hung and contacted my bank directly and guess what?? It was TOTAL BS!!!  JUST  A SCAM!!!  There is a true legitimate Security Service Federal Credit Union, but these people are not the real SSFCU.  Their name has with an "s" on the word "Service". So don't give them any info.  Anytime anyone contacts you and claims to be from any institution, just hang up and call them back directly with the number you look up so you will know who you're talking to on the other end.  Someone needs to hunt down these sob's and string them up by the 8@lls!!!

Got a recorded call stating they were with my bank (they named the bank), said my account was locked and to press 1 to unlock it.  I suspected a scam, hung up and checked with my bank.  No locked account.
