I have been getting calls from these people, same robo-call recording, for over a week now, different phone numbers with forged caller id headers, at first I simply hung up when I hear "The FBI has reported an increase in crime for your area".
For the last 4 days I have been pressing 1 to talk to a representative, once I have them on the phone I ask them to take me off their calling list (I'm on the Do NOT Call list to begin with) or I will be contacting the Attorney Generals Office and the Federal Trade Commision, most of them simply say "no problem, I will remove your number" but today I got yet another robocall and when "Ron" comes on the phone I start to ask him to take me off his call list, he got rude, then hung up.
Don't know the company name, but when they call again, I am going to gather as much information as I can and report them to the AGO and the FTC

I got the same recording listed above for the "security system."  I have been on the do not call list for 7 years now and I have readded my number to the list every year.  I just recently verified my number and yet they still call.  I have filed a complaint with the do not call registry.

PEOPLE! LISTEN UP!!
1) DO NOT ANSWER THESE CALLS. DO NOT PICK UP THE RECEIVER FOR ANY REASON.
2) DO NOT PRESS ANY NUMBER TO "BE TAKEN OFF THE CALL LIST"

Doing either lets the scammer/telemarketer s know that your number is  "live number," They can then sell your number to other scammers and /or use it for all their own other numbers.

RE: DO-NOT-CALL - You must report every one of these calls to www.donotcall.org. EVERY CALL, each time they call. (Or, you can call them. Use Google to find the tele. #). You must do this because Do-Not-Call does not have a giant computer that can access your telephone number and monitor which telemarketers are calling you, and then stopping them...no! YOU have to keep them informed of who your scammers are.  It takes only a moment. You'll need the following information to fill out their on-line form to report the calls: your telephone number, the caller's number, the time they called, the name  of the caller (or just the state...whatever you have), and the date.
If you don't follow thru, DoNotCall cannot help you. It takes about several months of staying on top of these calls and reporting them, before you notice a decline in the number of calls you are receiving. But it will happen.

I have been getting these phone calls too and also calls from Card Services (for over a year for them)  they also hang up when you try to talk to them.

It was weird how I got this call, left no message. Didn't even bother picking it up!!! Lesson to learn for everyone: Don't pick up any number(s) that you don't know.

Just received a call from this number.  I never answer calls from numbers I don't know and when the Caller ID says "Unknown".  I've never regretted NOT answering a call.  These telemarketers exist because people fall for this crap all the time so it is profitable.  If it wasn't, the calls wouldn't come.  So wake up people and know there are idiots out there that keep telemarketers calling and calling.  Not answering or asking to be taken off the DNC list, etc., etc. is NOT going to deter them.  That's why they can be rude, hang up on you, etc. because there is always the next one they can squeeze $$ out of to keep making money.

Husband got a call from 701-625-2080 and it was automated. The minute he realized it was a recording he hung up. No need to answer unless we get more from this area.

I just got a call from 701-625-2080, that standard ROBO call about the FBI report.  I pressed one and when the guy answered I said that "this call is being recorded for legal purposes" he starts yelling "you don't have my permission" several times and hung up.

Tells me the FBI reports a break-in every 7 seconds. They are trying to sell alarm systems.

Any interest in sueing this company?

I recommend the Digitone 10 Call Blocker. Harsh words with your congressman too.

Rung and hung up as soon as the answering machine took over.  Annoying.  They didn't leave a message.

A call (but no message left) on Monday, September 24 during the 11 AM hour.

I have reported this to the https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx Web Site.

I encourage EVERYONE to do so, as well.  The more complaints a company / phone number gets, the quicker the action begins against them.

Received a call, but not message.  I do not answer call like this.  I am also on the "DO NOT CALL" list, which is a wast of time.  This government agency should be put out of business and the money they use to operate should be used for social security.

In the last 4-6 months i started to get phone calls that were numbers i did not know. If  we can get these
unwanted  phone calls why can't we find out who is calling , and where they r calling from at the time of the
call. I guess i could get a new unlisted number again . I c how much it helped b4.

Got a call from this # about 4PM. I didn't answer. No message left. If this is a business trying to sell security systems it reminds me of the time I moved to Phoenix in 1995. I started getting calls constantly about (1) You need a security system, and (2) You need a water purification system. There were so many of these calls I started to worry that my house was being targeted for a break-in! Phoenix is a high crime area, you know. Fortunately that never happen in the three years I lived there. The water was very hard, full of salts. Hey, the Salt River goes right through the area and it was dammed up in the 1930s to supply water to the area via canals. I replaced all the shutoffs under my sinks because they had rusted in the open position! But I resisted getting a water softener. The calls for these two items were so incessant for about three months that I'm sure these businesses were driven by home sales information.
