This number calls me everyday.  I want it to stop.

they evidently are accessing AT&T records somehow.  Within seconds I received calls on separate business lines that have nothing to do with each other but ring in the same location.  Interesting.  No caller ID... just the phone number coming in.  Obviously robo calling, cause it bounced to my roll over line at the same time.

Being scammed and spammed by this number -- painful process to make them stop it.

I receive these calls every day too.  The absolutely worst thing you can do is press 1 for more information.  This tells the caller that you are interested in their information and they put you into another system that calls even more.  If you see the number you should just ignore it.  If you opt in to be taken off the list it never works.  The number 701-625-5010 comes from Minot, North Dakota.  A class action lawsuit has been filed.  If you are interested in getting in on it then visit my website and contact me and i can send you some information.  http://RestaurantEquipmentListings.com  If you are on the do not call list you have legal protection from people like this.  Hopefully it stops soon.

You are right on in saying that these cockroaches will not stop until they are removed from the world. The ftc will not do anything since I'm sure they don't get harassing calls/faxes, nor do people in govt (can't you see a higher level politician answering their personal phone & getting a robocall message). Wonder if the phone companies or their owners/officers get these calls...

If these cretins call me, I tell them in detail what will happen to them if it is up to me. After all, there are nutjobs running around all over the place; next time one of them needs to act out, maybe they will act out towards these "people" that have no positive attributes anyway.

just to be clear, these types of calls are not from Google...they are from companies that claim they can help businesses do better on Google. just didn't want anyone to spend too much of their valuable time calling Google because it won't do any good. there are many scandalous companies that even claim to be from google, but google rarely does any telemarketing, and if they do, they can easily provide proof in a hurry that they are actually from Google.

just thought i would throw that out there so nobody wastes their time.

p.s. i know this, because i own a company who has to deal with these robo-calling, scamming companies on a daily basis. we help businesses get real reviews from their actual clients on google and the other major review sites, but we do it legitimately and without robocalls, etc. i personally get irritated when we get lumped in with these scammers, which is why i spent a little time posting this. maybe if the info helps someone, we can put a little good karma out there and not get lumped in with these jokers. www.trackbackinc.com
