Hmmm...didn't hear my phone but they didn't leave a msg. Wonder if they're seeing if it's a valid number...better make sure we really look at our cell bills the next few months to make sure nothing was charged or ordered against our number

Got a call from this # and ignored.

have been told that if the call is made from a computer....they use random #'s. possible this is the reason. non the less is still someone trying to scam something. i NEVER answer a # i dont know anymore.

Got a call from this number this morning, A man's voice said hello, Then hung up, Called it right back no answer no voice mail, Used whitepages reverse number lookup and it said it was a cell phone from ND, It said Procedures Martin,

I called it back blocked from a different number and got a recording of a female saying if you want to be taken off the call list to leave your number and it takes about 72hours, I tried calling it back again after that and got a recording saying all circuits are busy try again later

About 10 mins ago for me, didn't answer...

Called my extension at work which is not a registered number, only way they can get it is from my email signature or a business card or an application that asks for my work number.

Caller said, "Uh, hello?"  So it sounds like it's a recording based on other feedback from other posters.  They probably record the numbers of people who actually pick up the phone and will call back at a later time with some sorry scam.

Our home phone is pelted by calls even though we are on the do not call list, we have used call blocking as well to get rid of the more annoying ones.

I'm dreading if this starts happening to my work number, as we get (legitimate) calls from all over the world so we don't screen calls direct to our desks.

This may be a scammer. Recently there was a problem with hang up calls that resulted in long distance charges to YOUR number.
The caller some how uses the answering of your phone to complete a conference call that bills to your phone.
