isnt there anyway we can stop all these SCAMS? Please someone must know what to do?

just got a call from "card services"  pushed the 1 and told "Doug" to remove me from his call list.  He told me "I don't have to do a damn thing".  I told him that by law he must remove me upon my request and he hung up on me.  Obviously a phishing expedition and scam/telemarketer.

Just got a call on my cell phone. I never pick up calls when I don't know who it is. There was a voice message from an automated source that said "Press 1 to speak to a rep". I don't answer unsolicited calls like this because I will only give my hard earned cash to people who I choose based on the quality of their work and a good reputation in the community. If a lot more people would do that, scams like this would become unprofitable and our day wouldn't be constantly interrupted by people with no morals trying to find people with no common sense, in order to take their money.

No voice.  Semi-regular calls that hang up upon hearing my voice.

Just got a call on my cell phone. didn't answer. Left no message.  Have gotten calls from this # before and know that it is a scam wanting my personal info.  I, too, have blocked this number.

I was hung up on before I could even be asked to be put on the no call list.  the call back number is non working.

I am trying to find a working # for this company and company name, becasue I want to be put on their do not call list.  I dont know how may times they have called, but Its a waste of my time.

They must be on a rampage. I just got three calls from them about an hour ago. No messages. Never answered the phone. Glad I didn't based on everything you are all saying....

Just got a call ftom this number. I am deaf and only use my phone for text!  Did not answer and they did not leave a message.

Yeah, I just got a call from them as well. Got routed to a "friendly representative." I asked which credit card they were calling about, and he immediately hung up. He probably wanted to talk to all his other friends.

pressed one to speak to a friendly rep. woman answered and asked who she was speaking to, i promptly asked who she was and wtf she wanted and the b***** hung up on me

I got a call from this number during church and didn't answer. They didn't leave a message so I googled the number and found this website and decided not to call them back. I will be blocking their number. Thanks for all your info!

Received a call from 702-267-8949 on 1/26/2011 & I will not give anyone including this caller-any personal info. I always hang up & block. I hope they are prosecuted.

Got a call on office number and cell at within a few minutes on Jan 25. No voicemail on cell. On office line voice mail sounded like "....press 2". Never called them and they have not called back. Question is how do they get all phone numbers for a person, lets hope they get this info in a legitimate way?
