Got a phone call today. Said they are from FDA Home Security. Reported to the do not call website.

Low life scum calling from a spoofed phone number

PLease report this number.  They are spoofing me and actually using three different different numbers now.  

THIS HAS TO STOP.  WHAT IS THE DO NOT CALL REGISTRY FOR IF NOT TO BLOCK SPAMMING AND TELEMARKETERS GETTING THRU.  ESPECIALLY THE SPOOFING WHERE THEY "FRIKIN" HANG UP ON YOU.  WHAT A WASTE OF TIME AND ENERGY.

There has to be something to keep this from happening in the future laws about cell phones and home numbers being given out or sold.

Wow,  you really need to go to the DNC/FTC site and find out what the DNC does.  It is just a LIST!  It's not a mega computer and  It doesn't block any unwanted callers.  It is just a LIST.   It's is collected and maintained by the FTC and is required to be purchased by Legitimate,   Registered with the FTC,  Telemarketers.  It provides those legitimate Telemarketers a list of those people who do not wish to be called for the sale of goods and services.  And those legitimate American telemarketers do honor this list.   Those are hidden scammers calling you and many aren't even in this country.   There is no way that  "A LIST" can monitor and screen over 500 million Telephones,  and 1 billion 500 million+   phone calls each and every day to each and every telephone and decide what calls you will accept and which ones you want to be blocked.
It is just a LIST!!!!   That's all it was ever intended to be.  For the purpose that you are wanting,  you need to go online and invest in a mechanical Call Blocker..

You're wasting your time KC.   It's like teaching checkers to Chimps.....when a mind is made up,  you can't change it by confusing it with facts...

here is what I have been doing lately and seems to be working, not 100% but it has dropped the calls coming in.. if the number you see on caller I.D. is not known to you or the company, pick up the phone, I use speaker cause I like to hear them talk, answer the call dont talk place it on speaker make sure you have no back ground noise and just listen, they will connect cause their computer reacts to no answered signal. they repeat my name at least 4 times then they listen, then hang up.. on one occasion, I listened to the guy call my name after the 4th time, I replied, now you know how I feel, a slight pause and he hung up..

Received call from this number this morning. I did not answer because I did not recognize the number. However, the answering machine got it. On my message I hear, "hello...hello... hello...hello..." and then she hung up. I could hear lots of background noise too. I guess she didn't listen to the answering message that said we weren't available!

Doesn't do any good.  I have asked several times to be removed from this particular number's list.  I still get calls.  Sounds like they are calling from the Philipenes using a US number.  I also reported them to the do not call list.  The do not call list is a big waste of government money and taxpayers money in my opinion.

I use a wireless Panasonic phone most models can block up to 30 numbers. The newer ones may even block more numbers than the model I have. I made a hobby of blocking these numbers now. I rotate the ones that stop calling from my master list of numbers and put them on a inactive list to make room for the news ones coming in. It works. I can block a lot of nuisance calls this way.

Call went to answering machine since we were not home and even if we were we would hang up on these lowlife scum. The nasally voiced window licker asked for me by name and was all like "Hello, Hello, Hello" get the hint you r-tard douche my husband and I are not interested in the crap you losers are peddling.

Will be making another complaint against caller for calling me on the do not call list.

We keep getting calls from this number serveral times a week and all they do is hang up or not leave a message......

This caller was annoying and when I told him that I was not interested, he called me a ....sucker which is an American slang for not a nice person.

I let the answering machine pick up the call and when no message was left before the machine could finish it's message I figured it was a sales call.

They were calling me on my work number, had to tell them while they were in mid-sentence and asked to be removed from their list.  Because it's a work number, I have no choice but to answer my phone.  Don't want to be written up for being unresponsive to legitimate calls from a customer.
