I got a call from this number with an automated voice which said that they could sell the car I have listed (on Ebay) for probably more than I was asking for. They said they are not a dealer or a broker but a finance company. They said they don't charge a commission so I get the full asking price. It said to press "1" if I was truly interested. I hung up.

another call from someone wanting to make a buck off of me - don't ever list your car with Cars.com.  The only calls you get will be from telemarketers!

The calls from this number are generated when selling your car and choosing to advertise it in almost any publication or website (ie: "Auto Trader" "Craigslist" etc.)
Their goal is to get you to "list" your car or truck with them for roughly $500.00.
Since they're based in Nevada, I would suggest that unless there are any possible calls from Nevada that you want/need to accept just to block all calls orrininating from the (702) area code for the duration that your car is listed for sale in virtually any form of advertising media.
