Called my parents claiming to be from Publishers Clearing House saying they had won $2.5 million. Yeah right. My mom hung up on them so I called them and a guy named Dave answered. Said he was with FedEx. I told him to quit harassing my elderly parents and that I was reporting him. He gave me his supposedly id number....like I believe that one.

Got a call saying "David" was from fedex, about my package that was going to be delivered. A check from Mega millions....Well I called Dave, and I asked how could I check this out , and he hung up. I called back and it said the majic jack caller was un-availible...

My mother received a call from this number tonight saying that he was Dave from UPS.  He then told my Mom that she had won the Mega million lottery.  He advised her that she would have to call a woman at 518-722-3926 to verify her winning and then call him back.  My parents then immediately called me.  I explained to them that it was a scam and reminded them to not EVER give out any of their personal information.  I then proceeded to call the woman.  At first she tried to sound professional.  I then starting askiing her questions about the so called lottery winnings.  She said that you have to purchase a ticket using a debit or credit card to be elligable to win. BINGO!  Once she realized that I was on to her scam she became irate.  I just hung up on her,  I then tried to call Dave and recieved a generic cell message that the person could not me reached at this time.  It is very sad that people stoop to this level to try to scam hard working people out of their money.  They need to seek GOD and get a job.
