May 18th 2007 5:56p.m. I'm in the middle of typing a text message when I get a call from 702.444.4939 I live in CA and don't know anyone in NV so I didn't answer. They didn't leave a voicemail so I Google the number and find this place. I decided to try calling back but got the busy signal. I wonder where he got my # from I haven't had it for very long. I want to find out who this is.

I had 3 missed calls on my cell from this number, all within the same 5 minute period -- no voicemail or anything was left. I called back several times, it's always busy.

I got three calls in a row from 702-444-4939 yesterday afternoon. Two more this morning.  I owe on some medical bills, so figured it may be a debt collector.  I tried to call it back and no answer.  Can't figure it out.

I too got a call from this number and they hung up. when i tried to call back it was busy.then they called back and I waited for it to go to voicemail,they didnt leave one.I called it back again then, no answer.
I looked it up and found this site and see its an annoyance call.
So I reported it to the www.donotcall.gov website. And I suggest you all do the same. (So long as your phone is registered.) Also reported to my cell carrier.

My husband received a call from a guy with this number last night saying that he was coming after him for some money that was owed for drugs.  This is ridiculous since neither of us do drugs.  We've also received some other threatening calls from blocked numbers, so we filed a police report and are reporting all calls to the police. We think the guy is in some way associated with a crazy ex of my husband's that we call psycho Cindy.  So if either of you are reading this, the police are on your tails.

missed a call from this number @ 11:48pm on my cell phone than a couple minutes later on my parents home phone.. Calling card? No one left a message though.

my step dad called me on that number and said he was in trenton michigan but this number comes up as nevada. wierd!

He was using a calling ard.

Received call from female with heavy spanish accent.  I couldn't understand the name she asked for.  I told her she had the wrong number and not to call back.  About 5 minutes later she called again.  I answered the phone after checking my caller ID and asked her if she was stupid or not and not to call again.

Hey I guess this is a florida number.  I recieved a call from my husband via this number.  An hour later he was home.  I live in FL. How strange it is that it has a Nevada area code.

is your salon in florida?  Where are you located?

my phone was ringing and i didnt recognize the number so i didnt pick up...thats when i googled the number real quick and got to this website...then i had a voicemessage left so i listened and it was a friend of mine claiming to be at a payphone in spokane washington...which made no sense because i dont know why she'd be calling me at a payphone..but whatever. but i was completely thrown off by reading the posts on this site...so i have no idea.

I am seeing a guy who is about to be getting a divorce (still married though, complicated situation but that's why he calls from payphones) and he calls me from this same number a lot of the time.  It's a payphone at Kroger in Stockbridge, GA. So it must be a payphone company's phone number, I guess.

I got 4 calls today, finally the last time i got someone on the other side, it was my brother in New Jersey lambertville or New Hope Penn, calling from a payphone

well, i figure i should play my part and contribute here.  I just got a call from this number, 702-444-4939.  i looked it up in google, not expecting anything.  that was until i discovered this thread.  pretty weird.  anyway, i'm in nyc and i just got it.  today is june 2nd and i received the call at 9:25pm.  i haven't attempted to call back and am hesitating.

recieved a call from my ex girlfriend from this # at 8:53PM PDT on Jun 2. she said she was at a pay phone in Yuma, Az and that's probably right because I know she was there earlier that day.

GOT TWO PHONE CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER TODAY AT 10:03 CENTRAL TIME.  tRIED TO CALL BACK AND IT WAS BUSY.  tHEN IT JUST RANG A BUNCH OF TIMES WHEN i CALLED BACK.  i LIVE IN MS.

702-444-4939 is the switch number of a wholesale carrier, regularly used by payphone companies.
So in other words, you will see the caller ID from their switch, rather than the actual number of where the call came from in the first place, which was very likely a payphone.

Got this call from a friend of mine who is supposed to be in a recovery center in Greenville, SC.  The number comes back Las Vegas, does anyone know where this number is?  My friend is in need of help, but won't tell me where he is
