I recieved call from this number I didn't answer, man left message @ 8pm, he said hi "my 1st name" this is jay Spencer I'm calling pertaining to a check, i need to verify. Got a call from a guy asking for some girl. After I said this wasn't her phone, he seemed kinda bummed and asked if I was joking. After the second time he asked and I said that I wasn't joking, I said "bye" and was about to hang the phone up when I heard crying on the other end. I said "bye" again because I didn't recognize it as crying and he said "help me, help me, help me" over and over again.

i had gotten a call fromt his number today. They asked for me by my correct name, but when my husband asked who it was, they hung up. no one ever calls for me on my husbands phone, so it was kinda kreepy.

These people called my phone today, I live in Missouri, I have never received a call from them before, and I dont know why they would today.
I did not answer because I dont know who they are.

They did not leave a message either.

Constant calls from the 702-445-7777 AND 866-443-6985.  When my husband finally answered it was about a debt for our son who used my credit card account on whcih he was an authorized user to apply for a loan.  These people threatened my husband that they would freeze my credit card account--said they were attorneys.  Once I learned about this I called the number and acted naive and politely asked why I was seeing these calls on the caller ID, got as much info. as I could.  They finally realized this was aproblem and starting forwarding my call ending with a "Marty".  I tore him a new one.  He claimed there was a misunderstanding and they never threatened.  I said now you're calling my husband a liar.  He got on the call and told "Marty" threats were most certainly made and that is the only reason he and my son agreed ot a settlement--to protect me the innocent person here.  I threatened to file charges.  "Marty" was soooo sorry we had misunderstood.  Oh, "Marty" then wanted to complain that I was irrate because he had had such a civil conversation with my husband.  I reminded him he was now dealing with the person whose credit he threatened--illegally I might add!

For the first few dozen calls wanted to talk to me about an outstanding check, which I don!t have. last call was about lidigation or something.  Inever used a payday loan nor do I have any ourstanding checks so I never answer.

You cannot be arrested for writing checks to a payday loan agency.  You can be arrested for 'kiting' or intentionally writing a check to a retailer when you know there are not sufficient funds to cover it.

Since you postdate checks when writing them to a payday loan agency they are not covered under the same laws in most states.

I got a call this morning from a vegas number caller ID said vegalo When I answered it I told the guy to stop calling me and hung up. The the idiot called me 8 times in a row and when I answered for the second time to tell him to stop calling he said why? Are you kidding me.. I hate these people.. I dont even know what they do

Received message from a Tom about a litigation matter that had my name attached to it that causes some concern with his office.  Tom left his "personal" extension, 236, for me to call back so we could go over the details. . . . .  I did not call back.

Received three calls on my caller ID from 702-445-7777.  Answered the 3rd call and was told I had a bad check written to a pay day loan co.
I have never written a check to any payday loan company.  Was threatend with legal action.  After not being able to reason with the guy, I finally hung up on him.

These guys called my husband about a payday loan, and set up payments. Today he was searching and came across a .pdf hat shows they do not have a license to operate in Nevada as a collection agency. Frontier is also a name from another company, not registered as their name. You can find the .pdf by googling Frontier Financial Group Las Vegas Nevada.

Yes, this is true.  I just got a call from them, and yes it is true that I have an unpaid payday loan with the actual company they claimed.  BUT they were rude and refused to work with me and in fact hung up on me after of course claiming to take me to court and would charge me $110 per day in legal fees!  I am actually unemployed at the moment... and had no money to give them.  The guy was VERY VERY rude.

Just got a call from these people and have had one a while back as well saying I had written a bad check and something about me being arrested. That was on a message they left. This time it was a guy named Ruben as it was last time if I remember correctly. I supposedly wrote a bad check March 6th of last year.  The funny thing is I JUST recently got a checking/savings account through Wells Fargo maybe 4-5 months ago and even then I have never in my life written a check, only used the visa card they gave me to purchase stuff online once so far.

this is a law firm(not) I think it is a collections agency that tells you that they are trying to sue you to collect a debt I have spoken with these con artists it is a joke
