Received a text from this number minutes after I listed a vehicle for sale on cars.com
Asked me what my lowest price is that I would accept and if there was any issues. Signed it Patrick.

Small alarms went off since the area code was odd and long distance. I was stupid to respond and gave him a price.
Once he replied that he is ok with the price and some other problems with the car he wanted my paypal account.
I deleted the text as a blatant scammer. I then removed my phone number from the listing and will just deal via email.

Got a text from this number a day after I listed my car on cars.com.  Asked what issues my car had and what was the lowest I'd go with my price.  I responded with some car details I told him to shoot me an offer, declining to share the lowest price I'd go (just bad negotiating form).  Anyways, "Patrick" texted back a few hours later saying my asking price was okay and wanted my paypal information to effect payment and meet up to get the car.  Knew it had to be a scammer right then so I deleted the thread and blocked the number.

This is a scammer!  Do not give out any personal information!
