Scam phone call and have been harrassed consistently for 2 days.

Rcv'd a call from this number.  They hung up.  I called back but said my long distance carrier won't place the call.

got this call 30 seconds after my hubby. we both didn't answer. very weird.

Call rang three times and then stopped. Caller ID indicates North Las Vegas Nevada. Looks like a scam...par for the course. Will file a report on the Do Not Call website.

Hang-up call. Number disconnected when called back.

I also have family in the 702 area code. So I naturally called the # and was greeted with " 12 dash 4 the number you are calling is invalid or blocked from my area code". Interesting as the only numbers that are blocked are 900 and similiar numbers.

no one talks when you say hello

if this is an auto dialer and they have it sequencing then even those of us on the do not call list are not safe. they aren't answering you back before hanging up because one of their workers wasn't able to get to your call fast enough, (they were on another line with some one else when you said hello) so the auto dialer hangs up if their worker doesn't initiate the call with you. very annoying. block that number and you should be ok.  good luck.

This number has been calling me the past three days!! repeatedly!!  what are they doin??? how do i get them to stop???

Every day I get a call from them.  Three times tonight.  I'm going crazy.

And how is this a "scam"?  I don't understand how they are making money off you, it's just really really insanely annoying

these people are using a landline that when called back...is reported as a number NOT IN SERVICE.
i am on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY and they are ignoring that.
they are calling as late as 9:30pm pst!
when i ignore the call they don't even leave a message on voicemail...quite rude & bothersome.

Same story as you all have. No message, call back says diconnected. Makes me angry because they are trying to call my 10yr old daughters phone. This is not ok with me!

Got two calls-  ID is NEVADA.. What I do is forward these scam numbers to another scam number- this way my phone does not ring with this [***].

I think I might try calling the Las Vegas District Attorney's Consumer Affairs Dept--if they have one at my first opportunity which will be 1-19-2011.  Calls from this number are coming int--that I know of FOR SURE --both in California and in Kansas.  Whoever it is, the entity is disturbing the peace of my 85 year old mother.  As for the phone company, all of us have to bother THAT entity repeatedly.  I can't imagine that they do not have some sort of obligation in this situation.

This number comes up on my caller I'd and when I answer no one is there. I don't know why they keep calling.

I just got a call from this number also today. I called back, no answer. I filtered it out with CallFilterPro, hopefully the calls will stop.

There was a long pause before the caller responded.  He started by asking for me my name.  I responded by inquiring "who's calling?".  He identified himself as Robert from Public Opinion Research.  I then responded with "thank you......, but".   The caller's immediate response was "screw you" and hung up.
