- DavidI received a call from this number, offering lower interest rates, the problem? I don't have a credit card. When I mentioned this to the live operator, they immediately hung up.
- JamieThe caller was from "your credit card company", I asked "which one", the caller hesitated then said questionningly "Capital One?"... said they were calling to offer services... asked for my zip code... I became suspicious and hung up.

- stumpyJUICEboxThey call me pretty regularly. It's always early in the morning-like around 7:00am. I've never gotten to the phone before it stopped ringing. They call me about once a month.
- KapaI just got a call from this number on my cell phone, I didn't pick it up and searched it online right away to find out what it was and from what i have read i am glad i didn't waist my time answering it. I hope no one falls for that crap. there was no voice mail, I just called the anti-telemarketing phone number and all those lame calls will completely be stopped within 30 days, so if you want to get rid of these ridiculous callers, the national anti-telemarketing number is: 1-888-382-1222
- tired of bogus callsWork at a law firm. I answer the phones and wright down the phone numbers of recorded messages we get. The message lately has been a female voice saying,"THIS IS GOOGLE DIRECTORY ASSISTANCE DATA COMPILER AND WE NEED TO UPDATE YOUR LOCAL DIRECTORY LISTING." Then there is a request to push 1 to talk to someone, 2 to be taken off the list. COMPLETE SCAM!!! Whenever I get one of these calls, I ALWAYS get a call later in the day from someone out-of-state wanting to talk to the person responsible for the company telephone account or our gas bill. Last time I told the girl to take us off her call list and she called me back 6 times in a row, and called me a Little B***h. I don't think they know we are a law firm...
- JennI got a call too...didn't answer and dont intend to
- Caller: Brooks Partners
- FrankI don't know this person to call me. Also I don't want to receive this call again.

- Fed.UpRobocall offering help with "your mortgage problems and foreclosure." Really? What mortgage problem? You know something I don't?
I called back to remove the number from their "special offers" list. We'll see if that works.- Caller: None given either on either call
- M, CaliforniaReceived phishing robocall. Filed complaint at https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/
- annoyedThese people called me, saying they would lower the interest rates on my credit card (a lie, never had a credit card, had this phone number for 3 years). I pressed the button to talk to a person, when the woman came on, I said "Hi, you just called me and I want you take me off your list"
And she said
"Yeah, that's not gonna happen" and HUNG UP ON ME.
Are you kidding me? How are people like this allowed to do business?- Caller: no idea
- Call type: Unwanted
- seebsSame as everyone else. And as to how they're "allowed to do business", they aren't, they're a pure scam, but until the phone companies start providing real trace information and law enforcement starts caring, what's gonna happen?
