Identafix are idoits,They werent even looking for me it was some company that has been out of business for 15 years that they were looking for, and had never had my phone numberattached to that business. i have had this number for over 15 years. They better not call me agian i will tyrn them in to the cops for harassment.

I know who identifix is   they are an information database for auto truck foreign dometic    BUt i have never done biz with them ... i think they got my tel from IATN>NET who is a sister company who i am signed up with

A company called Identifix.  They are an automotive group, though they call themselves a hotline, for Auto Garages/shops.  Sometimes the caller ID shows SRS rather than Identifix but it is a legit group.

Same scum different Spoofed number  - 702-547-2700 Caller ID "SRS" - Typical scum bag human sewage scam call... Hit the big red button on the call blocker and added the jerk call to the blocked list...

Tempting as it might be, it's best to NEVER answer these turd's calls and engage them - it only puts your number on the auto dialer's "call more" list since it confirms the auto dialed number used is a "live number" with a possible sucker on the end...  They could not give a crap less if you ask to be "Taken off the list...."

Too bad there is no listing in the "Call Type" that actually matches the real manner of the scum making the calls - there should be at least "Scammer" in the list....  Some where there may be an actual valid telemarketer making unwanted calls...and that's the only case that "telemarketer" really fits...

....you didn't understand that this "business" is calling people who are on the DNC - not just businesses!  Also, any group which continues to harass businesses even after being told to stop calling, can be sued - for harassment!

They just called me, some lady asked if this was auto repair, I said no & she hung up.

The dnc list only applies to residential phone numbers.  And, it doesn't apply to political campaign calls or non-profit organizations.  If you run your business out of your home you are out of luck.  Calls are permitted.  Sorry.

Calls are not permitted to residential numbers (not businesses) who are already on the DNC.  This thread is not referencing calls made by surveys, non-profit orgs or political campaigns - although they must also stop calling if told to do so!  Sorry!

Some squirrel from Identifix asking what type of business we were in.  Asked if we did mechanically work.  When I replied no, he said...Oh...ok...no problem and ended the call

They don't have an autodialer. They have a database of info gathered from many sources. If you go to a car show and sign up for anything - they'll call. If you get a free magazine, they'll call. If you go to any trade show, they'll call.
