beware of calls from (702) 577-1940 - they claim to be a company called Four Star Services - operating a referral service . . . but the https://www.bizapedia.com/nv/four-star-services-inc.html states their filing status has been revoked for over ten years . . . essentially they want to sell your services for you. They texted me asking me to call them back - turns out the call came from a landline, so I am assuming they are spoofing this number  . . .  no matter what the case . . . steer clear -  something is fishy about this caller

The same thing happened to me through a text, this number wanted me to do work for them but the text looks strange so I didn't even reply, I'm in Wichita Kansas I do home repair, if you reply to these texts then they know it's a good number and then you'll be spammed, don't do it!

I received a text asking me to call them because they need some work done. I googled the number to see the same thing is happening to other contractors in different states than me. It's a scam.

Sent me a text saying:
"Hello. Can you please call me when you get a chance? I need to get some interior rehab work taken care of. Thank you."

Same thing.  Can you call me when you have a chance? I need a company who can replace some windows and doors at a few houses...lol glad i googled it.

This person calls me every day. Changing his number slightly to prevent blocking. I asked him to stop calling me and got threatened. Real nice slimeball.

He said if I wanted leads for jobs. Told him no and still get calls and texts. Changes his number and calls again and again. Hell has a special place for scammers/spammers like this.

If someone has a way to have a computer continuously text his number,  It would be fantastic. He bothers me about interior rehab work. He is a scammer that bothers a poor guy trying to feed his family. I'm a Iraqi war vet with partial limb paralysis due to a fragmentation grenade injury. I have much to worry about. Not this type of scammer.

Maybe you should know what you are talking about before you make statements on the internet. The company you listed in that fake link is not the company you are on here complaining about. Get your facts straight.

They texted my landline and it seemed suspicious.  Thanks for these comments.  Wording was pretty much the same as above.

Yes this number is definitely a company called Four Star Services and they sell leads. I have multiple screen captures of the ignorant messages they sent after I dealt decisively with their text message referring them to use our web form to send us their information.

Received a text, requesting help with a residential project.  It looked like spam, so I googled the number, and from the other responses, my guess was correct.

Same thing got text, need ac company needs new installs done.

I got a text from these dirtbags today 702 577 1940 "Hello. I need a contractor for residential work. Please call me if you have room in your schedule!" I text back asking where they were located as it's a NV number and I'm in MA. A few minutes later I get a call from 702 675 8199 and a female tried to sell me some " referral " service for $105.00 per month, when I stared asking questions she started getting loud and when I compared them to every other predatory lead service out there she got nasty and insulting so I told her to F### #FF and hung up. A few minutes later she starts texting and says she found a BBB report that I had scammed some people out of money for work that wasn't completed. It turns out it was somebody with the same last name as me and this b#### is now threatening me in texts. I've already started internet blogs about these numbers so if you get TEXT or CALLS from either DON'T RESPOND.
