Standard windows support ripoff scam

Seriously! They called @ 7:30 am this morning!

Male voice said he was calling about an error message regarding my computer. I told him that I didn't have a computer, and he hung up. Oh, and the call came in at 8:10 in the morning.

8:30am call. I didn't pick up as didn't recognize # (search shows # is from Las Vegas area & multiple on line complaints about computer scam from that #). Now have a whistle handy to blow in their ear if they call again.

You really hate being able to hear that much?

7:45 Saturday morning

Standard windows support scam. First he said. It was my windows computer, then he said it was my Mac. He didn’t have a clue what type of computer I had.  I laughed at him and he hung up.

Another Microsoft computer scam.  Called at 7:00 a.m. this morning saying that there was an issue with my Microsoft Windows.   Said I didn't have Microsoft Windows and stuttered around and said I mean Microsoft Apple, which of course doesn't exist.  Finally just told him to save his breath that I know this is a scam and hung up.  Male caller with a thick east Indian accent.

Said there is a malicious something on my computer and he was calling from Microsoft to fix it. I told him that I was going to call Microsoft myself.

The Microsoft Support Scam - I was having breakfast so just said 'go away' and ended the call.

This number just called and kept asking can you hear me.  Well he wont be able to anymore becuz it has been permanently blocked. So bye bye to you whoever you may be

A male guy called me sounded like he was in an Asian call centre claiming he was from windows. It was 10:55 on the morning of the Royal Wedding so I told him I could not talk. He became aggressive saying it would take 10 mins and if I didn’t do it I would blame windows for my computer not functioning correctly! I told him our IT people would deal with it, he slammed the phone down - so rude and very upsetting.

Windows Support, calling about my PC @ 7:45AM on a holiday.  I happily told him off and disconnected.  Hoping they don't call back.

Claimed to be from Microsoft Technical Department. When I told him I knew the call was a scam, he challenged me to prove it. Told him I would report the number and hung up. I've received several similar calls from a California number in the last few weeks.

they called me this morning at 8:25 am Atlantic time and it's calling from Nevada so it's mean that it's 4:25 am in Nevada! Either they get to work early or they work really late! LOL!,Oh by the way it's computer scam!

Windows Tech Support Scam

Called at 06:44am.  I was making breakfast, so I did not answer.  They did not leave a message.

Claimed he was from Windows Microsoft, etc.. Told him I know you're a scammer, you aren't getting access to my computer, don't call again or I'll report you to the police. I hung up. He calls me again, laughs and challenges me to call the police while he waits on the line!? I told him to drop dead and go you know where, stop calling me! I hang up. He calls me again!! Harassment plain and simple. I didn't pick up the third time. Which authorities should I call? I live in Canada so that's why he was laughing at me, what can our police do to him.

They have called here  twice today both times dead air on the end.  Good to know its computer  scam. Last time I told them not to call back
