    As soon as he asked if I knew about Nevada's tax rebate for renewable energy law, I knew it was about putting solar panels on your roof to lower the electric bill.

    It's an ok idea, but keep in mind that if you want to sell your house, the next buyer will have to want to take over the solar company contract. Plus, also realize that there is no battery backup and if/when NVEnergy's grid has a blackout, so will you. It only works when NVEnergy's grid is working. The grid goes dark, you go dark too.
