call trying to get my social security number stating that they represent harris county check fraud. this is based out of las vegas. Harris county has no such department.

these people have called me two days in a row to get me to pay a payday loan from cashusa  they are telling me I will be served with a summons and will have go to court .   My lawyer told me processors do not call before coming to you to  serve the papers.   this company also says once the papers are served you can not make arraganements to pay the debt . the fact is you have 21 days to response to any summons.   be ware there are all kinds of scams out there and they really want to scare us.   do not give out your social security number or bank information or any person information   even addresses, etc.

Glad I looked here first.  Sounded official and not like a recording.  The scary part is that it referenced the fact that I cosigned for her house rental.  Don't know how they got that info.  They wanted me to call 484-270-5425 (another scammy number).  Lawyers name was Michael Stone (a real attorney in some states), but number was from Las Vegas.

Stop calling 971-275-7556, this is my child's number and you should know better not to call underage children. Stop these calls.

Man named Rick Johnson for County Check Services called my work and told my boss they were going to proceed with a summon for me but ask for me to call (213)261-0617. I find it funny that the address they gave me is in Niagara Falls, ON, one phone number(702-628-9757) in Las Vegas, NV and the other in Los Angeles,  Ca. Went my local police Dept. and they said to tell them not to call and hang up!!!!

That same man Rick Johnson got on the phone last after I told the other person I needed more information about my case. He said they have a case that will be filed against me if I do not pay. They have so many phone numbers. Victoria London sent me n email with a payment agreement with no check number that I suppose to have written. They were mad because I told them I was not paying anything until I have the attorney name that they are working for.

They called me threatening me today. Claiming to come and get me from my job.
If I didn't pay. Thing is I paid my loan in 2010. I contacted the real authorities

These people called, asked for me, told me there was a warrant out for my sister and then hung up on me.

I got a call from 7162052117 saying they were going to garnish my wages if i didnt pay. Glad i looked this up.

The first number that called was disguised as a local number. I called them back to see what they wanted and the man on the other end said it was about check fraud. I said you should not have my name and I hung up the phone. Same person called back two minutes later from (702) 628-9757. Stating that they were calling about check fraud and that we should consider ourselves served. It was like they did a 411.com search and found names of family members and neighbors near me. The man also stated that a process server will be coming to the house and provided a docket number for our county. Needless to say it was a scam.  I checked our County Office online and there is no such docket/case number.

I got a phone call yesterday and today from the number 410-709-1840 from a man named Don Mack. He said that I have crimminal charges that are being filed against me for check fraud and theft and that I owe Advance America $605 and that we have to go to court on Dec 18. and that there was a hearing already on Dec 7.  I never was served any papers to go to court. The thing is that he had all of my personal information, my social security number, my correct address and the VIN number to the car that I am driving. And all of the information that he had was correct.  That is what scared me. He even gave the date that I supposedly got the Advance America Loan Nov. 23, 2004. I dont remember doing that at that particular time in my life. So County Check Services is a SCAM!!

Everybody PLEASE contact the Federal Tade Commision and file a complaint, so we can get these people to stop and maybe they will have some jail time. You can do this online and doesn't take much time. I have reported them both times they called me. We ALL need to report claims so the Federal Trade Commission can take care of this problem

County check service call me today told me a warrent was being filed for check fraud for a payday loan  told them I filed bankruptcy they told me it was not about the money it about the check call my lawyer they told me it was covered in my bankruptcy and also this is from a company that I did not take out a loan from
