Previous post: EXCELLENT. Keep up the good work to rattle the scammers.  Same info to report. Various calls to home phone (apparently NO CALL LIST means nothing.) Calls throughout the day, no messages. I finally resorted to answering the call and handing the phone to the house cat.  He kept the caller on the line for at least 1-2 minutes purring into the phone and giving himself a bath.  Not sure if he divulged any personal banking information or not.  I have seen him packing up his cat nip and cat-suit for what looks like an extended stay.

Perhaps he struck a deal.

Also remember that illegitimate companies and scam artists won't respect these lists.

Therefore once your enrollment goes into effect you should be extra careful of unsolicited telemarketing calls unless you know they come from a company with which you have a legitimate, established relationship.

YOU have to REPORT these calls to DONOTCALL.GOV so they can go after the scammers and close them down

I got this call today and my caller ID showed Hilton. I'm guessing they feel they can contact me for whatever they are selling because we stayed at a Hampton Inn last month.  According to www.donotcall.gov, they are allowed to contact me if I've done business with them in the past 18 months.  I did not answer, but I will next time so I can tell them to stop calling.

I have also received numerous calls on my cell from this number.  GO TO DONOTCALL.GOV AND FILE A COMPLAINT!!!   (Your number must be on the do not call list to do this)

This must be the hot week for these guys, 2 missed phone calls from that same number today, never a message. Glad there are others out there to report it too. This guy willget a piece of my mind next time he calls :)

They called asking for a specific member of the household. I asked them repeatedly who they were and the woman on the phone would not say, only to say that they would call again tomorrow when the specific member of the household was home.  I know they're Hilton, though, because they're listed on my caller ID.

I am on  do-not-call lists, so advertizers generally keep out. I have received 2 calls  from 7026997921 too. (Did not answer, because AT&T cell phone service always DROPS calls at my house in Palo Alto, (because of you Iphone people I guess).
However, since this unknown caller from Nevada called twice, I returned the call on my homephone and got the recorded message about the vacation package, and then only one choice, to press #1 for more info.

Common Ground: Yes, I HAVE RECENTLY BEEN AT A HILTON HOTEL in CO.

This is Hilton Grand Vacations Company.  They call a couple of times per day now.  I didn't answer because I didn't know who it was but after a few days of interruptions, I called them back and after being put on hold for a couple of minutes, they answered and I asked to be taken off their call list. They said they would remove my number.  We'll see if this works.

Talked a woman today from this Hilton grand vacations.  Told her it sounded like a great deal, mail or email me some info.  She said she couldnt until she had a "small" deposit on my credit card.  

People, DO NOT buy ANYTHING over the phone sight unseen.  Tell your friends.  The only reason these guys are still around is becuase someone is buying.  Its our own fault they exist Lets put them out of business!!

Just received a phone call from this phone nr.  After answering by saying "Hello," no one responded so I hung up.  Thanks to everyone for their postings.

5 calls from this number.  I answered the last one and the caller asked THREE times if it was me (knew my name)  The third time he asked it was evident this was not the sharpest knife in the drawer...I hanged up.

I just applied for a credit card yesterday through HSBC Bank. Now today I'm getting these calls. Coincidence? Anyone else have the same situation?

just got off the phone with talkative, pushy woman for Hilton Grand Vacation.    She then started talking as though I wanted to go through with it and started asking me all these questions, but I kept asking her what the deal was for.  7 night/6 day stay at a Hawaii resort for $999 and a 2 hour presentation. Since I didn't make the salary cut, they offered me something either in Orlando or Vegas. I said, sorry not interested, and she was shocked, and I hung up.
