frequent computer call

Found this call on my caller ID.  NO idea who it is.  Suspect it's for the old roomie and a bill collector?

This is NOT a bill collector, they claim to be with version wireless.  File a complaint with the BBB!  They won't stop calling! I have gotten a call once a day for a week straight!

Woman stated that my number had been selected by Verizon wireless to receive a free flip-phone.

IDK who this is, my dad joked that it was Taylor Swift, but I DOUBT it is!!! Ugh, if The person who has the caller ID swift ever comes HERE, stop calling us!!!!

I receive a call from this number once a day.  When I call back it says that they cell number is not in service.

I keep getting a call from this number. When I try to return the call, I am blocked from it. They continue to call my home 3 to 4 times a day. Sometimes someone is on the line (I can hear them breathing) but they will not say anything. Then other times once I answer the phone they hang up. It is becoming very annoying because I would prefer not to have someone call my home if they do not intend on speaking. This has started for about a week now and it doesn't seem to be letting up, only more often. At first it was once a day and now, on the 8th day, it's been 4 times already. I feel like this is a type of harassment and it should be stopped. But no one will speak when I pick up the phone to tell them to stop calling.

dosen't say a word calls 3-4 times a day!! any suggestions?

This number belongs to Swift Marketing, 1800 E Sahara Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89104,(702) 938-0247, I called and of course all you get is an automated switchboard that answers as "Nevada Corporate Services"... I played with the directory a bit and got multiple business names (these are apparently various companies that they market for). My best advice is to call them back during their "business hours" M-F/9-5 (PST) and advise that if they do not remove your number from any and ALL call lists that you will contact your state attorney general's office--and follow through if they continue calling.  There are also several states that have set up their own websites that you can go to in order to file a complaint with the state attorney general's office directly, for example: for Kentucky, you can go to http://www.nocall.ky.gov or for here in Indiana, you can go to http://www.in.gov/attorneygeneral/consumer/telephone/file_complaint.html .  There are also consumer groups that you can go to for information such as: www.consumeraffairs.com or www.callercomplaints.com.

SWIFT - Telemarketing call center. From the messages below, and the one that talked to me, they market anything. Same number every time for the past 2 or 3 weeks. 702.705.5008. This guy claimed to be working for a debt consolidation company to reduce my debt by 45%. I told the guy who's accent was from "far-off"-istan, that I was debt free, and if he could do me a favor.

Before I could get the words out, he said "remove you from the database?"

"Yep!"
