I just returned the call. It asks "If you want to be taken off future calls, press 1."

i got the same call and since i don't have a credit card, i decided to listen to see if someone was using my name/number. when the operator picked up, i said "yes, I'd like ..." which is all got out before I was called a [***] and hung up on. i tried to call back but the only message i get is "press 1 to be put on our DNC list"

And i called my dept. of consumer protection and was told all i can do is get a copy of my credit report.

I think the name of the company was Preferred Solutions.

I hate this call..no message and simply wasted my minutes...

I did answer same as above I asked them who they were and "Sarah" disconnected on me.  Too bad she was calling a 911 center on a non-emergency line.  Now we have cause of action to send them a nice letter.

I received a call from this number at 11:30am (PST) and did not pick up, no voicemail left.  I know the area code, it's Las Vegas/Henderson area.  From other peoples' comments on here, I've gathered that the company is 'Credit Card Services'  (creditcardservices.com - the website seems shady) and that it's a recorded message.  After you pick up, apparently you are instructed to press '1' to talk to a human, and '2' to remove yourself from their calling list.  The majority of people who talked to a living person questioned the company when they asked for personal information, and were then hung up on.  These are classic signs of a big scam, don't EVER give out your info to someone like that.  In most of these cases, the best thing to do if you answer the call, is just to hang up.  Pressing '2' to be removed from their call list (a LOT of the time) will promptly alert them that you actually responded to the call, and they will continue to call you as well as sharing your phone number with similar scammers.  You can also go to DoNotCall.gov and file a complaint (takes about 2 minutes), which may help get rid of some of these people and their scams.

I got this call at 5:18pm. Are code showed up as NV. I didn't answer it because I do not answer numbers that I don't recognize. They left a message.
"Interest rates on these cards. Press 1 to speak with a live agent. Press 2 to be removed from this list. Please press 1 now...."

Sounds like a scammer praying on poor people like me.

Got a call today same deal. No message

Interesting you say Bank Of America. The other day I used my debt card at one of their ATM machines, and then I got this telemarketing call. I think they must be buying private info from my bank that my card is from as they have my phone number. I don't see any other explanation except for maybe it's a scammer that got the number some other way and is using that bank name in the voice message.
Either way, Bank Of America s*cks and I'm never using that ATM ever again.

I also just got a call, but didn't answer, I figured out they were telemarketers.

I received a call from 1702-7055039 at 4:30pm CST in my area code(309) from unknown party ...... I did not return call, but this  is my 5/6th odd call in a few months on a Tracfone that I only use as an emergency phone....very few people have my# . I have listened before to a call and heard virtually nothing but a soft background music......on ph for 30 secs or so. I keep thinking it is someone
searching for active valid Cell#'s or is Tracfone trying to keep you using the phone.....as I rarely use the phone once a week.

anyone have similar experience ??

Just got a call, I didn't answer. Strangely enough I looked it up and found this... WHAT IS THE DEAL?

Just got a call from "Card Services" on my cell phone. How in the hell do these morons get cell#'s?? Told the girl to never call that number again. They call my home phone all the time too. I'm gonna call AT&T and have a chat with them and if I find out someone @ AT&T sold my cell number I will sue for sure.

Got the call on my cell phone from 702-705-5039.  Do they only call cell phones?  Didn't answer, but no voicemail left.  Annoying.

As a matter of fact got a handful of their calls.
I do not answer calls from numbers I do not recognized at all or have voicemail or an answer machine.
Today alone they called twice.

Just received thisi same call at 1549 MST in Tucson.  Pressed #2 for the "remove me from list" option, whatever that means.  It probably puts me on some other lists, or gives them information that they reached a working number.  Dang.
