(Oct 8, 2008, 6:22pm CDT) Credit card phishing.

The recording claimed to be calling from my credit card company (except they don't use that number to reach me) without actually identifying themselves with a name; "limited time offer" to lower my interest rate, press one to speak with a representative, two to be removed.  Not that *that* works.

I got calls from this number too. When I informed them that I am on the Federal DNC, the guy said they were in Quebec and did not fall under the US laws.

I have received several calls, i've "hit 2" to be removed and it has not, the second i hit 1 to talk to someone i asked them to remove me and they hung up on me.

They are out of Las Vegas on Stewart Blvd near North Las Vegas Blvd...
Just don't answer it!! If you are on the Do Not Call Registry over 31 days, file a complaint with the FTC and you can get a fine collected for $11,000

I got TWO of these calls today. I'm sick of it...

i've started to get random calls telling me i can get better rates on my credit card. too bad they don't know i have a horrible credit score and don't have a credit card. maybe they'd stop calling. after a little research i found that this number is supplyed by digicom services, but its middleman # is 'Telephone Management' @ Digitcom Services (866) 225-1956. www.telephonemanagement.net

Speak to a human, they claim you will be blocked from their company's list that very night..." Also from site: "call 1-866-225-1956, [however] Digitcom evidently changes this [866] number from time to time so you may have to call 310-358-7000 to get the new number..."

No one seems to indicate a successful remedy, however. Keep in mind, if you dial an 8xx number (a free number), it could be construed as "doing business with", and thus negate your DNC status. FYI: google shows Digitcom Services Inc at a west-LA address: 12923 Venice Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90066. I have neither answered the incoming calls nor attempted to reach out to the 866 or 310 numbers - assuming a "live" number is worth more to them. I will use posted info to lodge complaints w/ BBB & DNC

These people have called me several times.  I keep pressing two to be removed and they still keep calling.  One guy wanted to know the credit card information to the card that was not max out.  He said he just needs to verify that I have an open account.  When I pressed him for questions about his company he could not give me a number to reach him.  He was full of it!  This definitely a scam!  Trying to lower my interest rates.  Only my in house credit companies are legit as far as I am concerned.

These people NEED to be SHUT DOWN!!!!

I recieved a call from this number (702-705-5054)(ID'd on my caller ID as from a "CELL PHONE") yesterday, offering a "great deal" on "Dish Network". Since I do enjoy screwing with tele-marketers..... I decided to play along...(LOL).... What came next totally floored me. Before he could tell me about the aledged deal.... he claimed that he needed to pre-qualify me. I was then asked to provide my NAME...ADDRESS... PNONE NUMBER..... as well as (get this) my SOC SEC NUMBER and my DATE OF BIRTH!!!!!!!  Basicly EVERYTHING needed to do an identity theft........ When I told him that I "wasn't stupid" and that I DON'T give out that kind of info to unknown callers, the line suddenly went dead as he hung up on me...........

Called me numerous times but won't leave a message. I have no business with them, nor do they with me.

Gentleman told me he was from Directv.  I told him to take me off his list.  He said no, I said excuse me?  He said no, talk to you tomorrow sir.  I told him that was illegal and he said whatever and hung up
