Got a call from this number. No one was on the line. I just got a sound that sounded like a modem or fax machine. It may be an auto dialer.

that number called today, twice. No one was on the line. I called it back and the recording said "thank you for calling us back. if you no longer wish to receive our special offers press....." and I cant remember the rest. They didn't say who they were.

just got a call from this # i'm in canada. recognized the las vegas area code right away, didn't answer, don't know anyone there, they left no message

Cruise Line tickets are the offer for answering a survey. After the survey, sends you to an operator, and when I asked to be removed from their call list, he hung up on me.

Called our business line in Toronto, ON, Canada and no one was on the other line. It was dead air. Waiting for a few seconds. No one.

Just got a call.  DId not answer.

To everyone posting "they called and I didn't answer":
**Why bother posting here if you didn't answer the call?**

This number called my unlisted cell phone, ergo they are using either random dialers or sequential dialers.
This means a scam, since it's illegal to use dialers that work in this manner.
As soon as I answered, I got the boat horn, and "This is your captain speaking . . . ", so I hung up, since I'd heard this load of BS before. Called the number back from my voip line, and got some cheesy recording about "Press 1 to be removed from our calling list.", then a beep like an answering machine letting you leave a message. No mention of who the company was or anything.

I've been getting a few of these cruise line calls, I just add them to my Contacts and name it "don't answer", you'll never fall for the same number twice.

I got a similar call from 702-705-5241; they never left a message so I called back.  I got the recording that if you did not to be on theit list, press 1.  I waited and got a beep for recording a message.  I said, "You're a bunch of scammers!" and hung up.
