My hone was called from this number about , it's probably the medical alert system scam. Est.  I didn't answer but judging by the area code and exchange  it's probably the medical alert system scam.  They frequently call from 702-705-7329 as they did 2 times earlier today.

I rec'd a call from 702 705 7354 at 3:02 PM cst, didn't answer it.  They didn't leave a message.  Usually, these #ls don't leave messages, so I suspect its a scam.  I wish I could stop the nonsense of these calls.  I'm glad I was right in not answering that call.  If I don't recognize a number or area code, I won't answer it.  My # isn't listed & is on the dnc list.

This caller doesn't pay any attention to the Do Not Call list.. Tells you something about their business ethic, doesn't it?

This one's slick, I actually thought there was a live person on the line the first time I heard this call. I could hear him flipping the pages of paper he was reading and I was all set to "play" with the caller when I realized that it was a recording. I wish I had a nickel for each time he said "...uh..."  Following is the text of the recorded robo call...

"Hi, uh, this is John from the shipping department of Emergency Medical Alert, I was calling to uh schedule a delivery of your medical alert system, it's uh the "fallen, and I can't get up" type of system you've seen on TV. Looks like the system's been uh recommended by thousands of hospitals and medical professionals, uh, let's see, says here that the system's already been paid for. Looks like you're getting the system because uh either yourself, a friend, a family member or maybe even someone you know has experienced a fall in the past so uh again it's already been paid for so there's no cost to your whatsoever. Also says here that the shipping has already been paid for so to uh schedule the delivery of your Emergency Medical Alert System press 1 uh again to uh have your system shipped out to you press 1 now...press 5 to decline the shipment of your system...."

Call late on 12/10. No message, of course. Past experience with this or a similar medical alert scam tells me that the bogus robocall script only activates if you pick up.

It is a medic alert call. I blocked all future calls from them by dialing *60. The dummy that called was live and reading from a piece of paper, possibly a script. But after he finished telling me that it was ordered and paid for by someone else he tells me to press key #1 on my phone to accept, or some other number that I didn't listen to to reject. (It wasn't until after the live caller finished that I got a recorded message.)  I just hung up and then blocked all future calls from that number. *60 is a very handy,  but unpublicized, feature of many, if not all, phone companies to block callers. The national do-no-call list is a total waste since it doesn't appear to be enforced at all by the US Dept. of Commerce.

I got the same robo-man; when I would talk to "him" he'd jump to the next line in his script.  Even when I cussed at him and called him a robot, he plodded along.  Sick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I'm in my 30s and it fooled me for a second; imagine vulnerable seniors?!?  I tried to call back to leave them a piece of my mind but it went nowhere.

It is amazing how they insert ads in the middle of these messages.  Do not answer unknown callers or be ready to deal with them swiftly

I think the reason they keep calling is because they know that nothing will happen to them.
why because the big O said to call well I would like it if they would call him

I find some of the remarks posted about these ‘faux telemarketer calls’ amusing.  I have software that has logged over 339 of these annoyance calls since 2012.  Those of you that let the calls roll to your answering machine or voicemail have just ensured you will get another of these calls.  Maybe not from the same number, but they’ve just identified your number as valid and passed it on.  Most of the initial calls originate from software (aka; ‘robocalls’) – once your number is identified as active, then a person may be there on the follow up calls.  If you have the capability to ‘block’ the number that called – that is the best action.  If you don’t have a blocking option, sit close by a phone with caller ID then simply hit talk and off simultaneously.  If you really want to block them – there is reasonably priced software that a layman can install. Of the 339 calls I’ve blocked, only 16 have been in the last 6 months.  So the message is simple – blocking works….
