I just had the same thing happen to me and I tried calling back because I have distant family in Vegas but all I'm getting is a busy signal

yeah, I dont know who called bc I didn't pick up but they don't have a name or location, and I am so glad this site exists

This person said they were from some kind of organization that collected funds for wounded veterans.  I don't remember the name they gave me. When I told him that I already donate to other veteran funds, they asked me to be generous and donate $15. I politely told them I couldn't do that.  They thanked me and said goodbye. I won't be guilt tripped into donating to a possible scammer.  Sorry not sorry!

I answered. Nice guy saying that they are collecting money for the Disabled veterans fund. I am in canada and they are calling from the USA. First i am on the DNC list. (do not Call) they wanted to send me a envelope to return with a donation (are you kidding!!).. they could not verify any info regarding the charity and when I mentioned that since they are USA and I am Canada I could not write them off on my taxes they hung up..... scam looking for funds (American's dont call Canadians for money unless its an approved disaster fund.

they just call, don't leave a message, but I never ever answer this phone unless it's my partner....

this number called and hang up right away and a min later there is a block ID caller call... so i figure it would be the same people calling to ask for money...

A search (google) (SOS WA Breast Cancer) turns up CCI / Courtesy Call Inc https://www.sos.wa.gov/charities/search_detail_cfr.aspx?cfr_id=19 calling on behalf of multiple charities as listed on their report. Shows same name and address for this BBB report http://www.bbb.org/southern-nevada/business-r ... gas-nv-90010767 that shows no complaints and that is only possible if no one knows who's calling. If a complaint to their BBB doesn't stop the calls try a complaint with the Nevada Attorney General http://ag.nv.gov/ If you're a Florida resident receiving calls see https://www.fldnc.com/About.aspx that covers charity calls and do not call.

Got a call from number and j didn't answer. Figured it was a scam.

They called my cell and asked for my sister who I don't share a phone with or live with. I asked to take a message but he said there is no message to be left we will just call back later. I told them not to call this number since it's not her phone number but he hung up right away before I could finish.

I am on the "Do Not Call List" for my cell phone and just got this call. I researched and found this array of information. I called back the number as well and got a busy signal. They didn't leave a message as well. I will see if I get anymore?

Got a phone call from this number 702-749-0532 stating that they are from the DAV (disabled American verterans) and my contribution would be valuable. I am a supporter of the DAV and this caller was pranking to get money by using the DAV

Got a call from this number tonight, one from Seattle yesterday, and one from Ohio the day before. I just don't answer, come here and check it out then BLOCK THEM!

Got a call, they asked for me by name, and as soon as I confirmed it they tried to get me to donate money to disabled American veterans. Knowing they were going to ask for my personal information over the phone I declined. Looked up the number and it turns out there are multiple reports for calls like this from the same number.
