If you falsify, just realize you could end up subjecting another poor schmuck who owns that number to the calls you're getting now!  Try either not providing a phone number at all (JUST SAY NO... sometimes it works!) *or* give them directory assistance (your area code then 555-1212).

I suspect these fraudsters are getting the numbers elsewhere, though... this number has just started calling me too, and I haven't stayed at a hotel nor been to Nevada in ages and ages.

Got our first call from this number this afternoon to our DNC home phone. CID said, "Unknown Name". Didn't answer, no message was left.

Just got another call from them, asked (by name) for my wife.  As soon as I spoke they hung up.  Just like others, I called back and got the FAX noise.

800notes is not affiliated with your callers, we are not calling you either. 800notes is a forum for reporting who calls you and any information you may have about the call to share with other forum users. It is highly doubtful that your callers are reading here also. We can't stop anyone from calling you either or remove from a list.

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Report your callers here, not just to the DNC alone:

    https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/#&panel1-1
    https://esupport.fcc.gov/ccmsforms/form1088.action
    https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx?panel=2

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code  “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.

I blocked this number about two weeks ago. It shows up on my caller log as attempting a call to me almost every day. I love my call blocker!

Since this appears to be a fairly new list, I assume I am on a list for Scammers-in-Training. They probably still wet the bed at night. But I do for them what I do for real professional scammers. Never answer the phone (I do ask for a message to be left) and block the number. Get yourself a Panasonic phone system that blocks 250 numbers. Check amazon.com for one. A nice feature is when the jerks call back, there is no ring to irritate you.

For those with cellphones that do not have call blockers (or landline phones with custom ringtones), you may be able to avoid being rung by assigning a contact for the numbers in question and setting a silent ringtone for that contact.  It's what I used to do before my Android phone's OS included a blocking feature.

The system dials 10 numbers and if it thinks it has a live person it connects that call to their boiler room drops all other it was dialing.  This is also the reason you have couple seconds of silence before the call you answer is connected or dropped it takes couple seconds for the system to make a determination.

    Caller ID shows: Henderson, NV.
These telescummers called again on Sunday @ 11AM, and were blocked by my CPR blocker.
Again, these identity thieves are using a spoofed number, and they care less about the worthless DNC list...
BEWARE: These people are criminals who will try get your personal information and steal your identity.
The DNC list is simply worthless and you should NEVER answer these calls period!!!
You should also consider buying a phone blocking device which will eliminate most of the telespam calls.

They call very often, I never pick it up since I don't know anyone in Las Vegas. And if someone really wants to talk to you, they will leave a message.

I received an unwanted call from 702-993-0399. The representative said he was calling from "VIP Vacations" but could not provide me details on where he received my phone number from. I mentioned I had asked to be removed and he immediately asked if I was sure I requested from the same company. He stated he was representing this company:

    http://www.vacationsbyvip.com/

Does anyone know who I can report this company to for excessive telemarketing calls after being asked to be removed multiple times?

Left no message, but here is my message to the moron and loser who sets up these robotic calls. Your call is blocked with my call-blocking Panasonic phone.  And guess what àѕѕηθļє? No ring when you call back!  We will eventually win.  Just imagine if 300 of you creeps called 100 numbers each and nobody answered?  Assuming no duplicated numbers, that’s 30,000 phones that are not answered!  (i know you can’t do the simple math.)  so why don’t you go back to school and finish your 4th-grade education?
    Then, get a real job.
