they're trying to extort $

Some non american who I can barlely understand calls my cell phone talking about a complaint against my soical security #. These very rude scammers called my job and cursed out not only myself, but my manager. They (this group of indian's) have called from serveral different #'s, sometimes blocked and try to get me to verify the last four of my social security #. DONT DO IT. On another site with another # they have hit peoples accounts for $. DONT TRUST THESE [***] just because they have some of your information.

I just got a message from this number and the person on the other end could barely speak english, and were obviously from eastern india or somewhere because of the accent, but all i could really understand was a complain against my SSN and if i didnt call back then there was nothing he could do, and told me on the voice mail to take care. I dont have any idea who these people are but do NOT give them your info. They may have gotten it from the internet when you order something online, they obviously are illegal because this is not how collections or legal companies work. If you get a call hang up.

I think this is an extortion scam that uses fake loan websites to collect private information. They assume that if you are using a payday loan site, you must have known credit issues. Then they call you and try to shake you down for some type of fake settlement. I blocked the number.

Received numerous calls (10 at home and at least 3 at work, just today) about a law suit against my ssn. Caller tries to get me to verify information and I refuse.

I got scammed by this guy for 188.00. I'm so mad at myself and at that person Jason o'conner
