They are still at it, this is April 14 and they call almost every day. I don't pick up and they don't leave a message.

They called my cell phone, a number I never give out

I returned a call from this number to my cell phone on 11/23/09. The woman who answered said it was an insurance company (she named a real one, I think Bankers' Life). She said that they'd found my resume on Yahoo Jobs and wanted to interview me. She was super vague about details, saying only that they had many openings in sales from entry level through the management level. I could hear other people in the background on her end, making similar pitches. I declined the offer and blocked the phone number. It seems super fishy to me - I'm not seeking sales jobs or insurance jobs, and there's nothing on my resume or profile to prompt that kind of call. And in this economy, what legitimate employer has to resort to a boiler room operation to get applicants?

I received a call from this number only after listing my phone on CareerBuilder, it has obviously now been picked up by a spam list. Avoid it if you can.
