Caller ID said "Edge Point", call was intercepted by my call blocker, googled the name and there are several legit companies under that name, so I do not know which company and what they're trying to sell, if it was not spoofed. Either way, I'm on the DNC list and they are ignoring that. Area code is Alexandria, Virginia; it could be a political call.

Edge Point on caller ID - male identified himself as Darrin Counselor - states his company recovers abandoned refunds due to our company from the Federal Government for a fee.  He said he would email me information, but did not ask for my email address.  Must have known my name and email via our company website.

Received a message from Heather. Large government refund is waiting for me. Call her at 571-229-9258. Totally different number. I am treating is as a scam.
