- jojoIf you had taken out a online loan thats how they got your number i have been getting calls from several numbers. Be aware that they are trying to get your bank info. Please dont ever give out info online unless Its a secured site. The harrassment never seems to stop. I personaly have made calls to the police for phone harrassment. Please be very aware and dont give out any info! I hope i helped!
- LesReceived a call tonight and no one was there, then a voice said "Goodby". I called the number back and it was not in service. A lot of spammers some how have the number on caller ID but that is not the number they are calling from. I highly suspect that this is an "off shore" spammer.

- jimI just pick up the phone and set it on the desk and then after a while I put it back on the cradle. Can you imagine doing this job for a living.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- PaulineSame experience as above, several calls over several months, always dissociated and strange people calling, lots of line noise, voice goes in and out, and always saying that there's a diabetic in the house but they disconnect immediately when I ask any question. What is this scam? And what is their purpose in this? What are they getting from it?
- Caller: Diabetic something
- Sara, SeattleI received a phone call yesterday morning, which I missed and again this morning so I answered it. It was a woman who spoke poor english asking for me by name, when I said "this is she" the woman asked how old I was. I asked her why she would be asking me that and who was she, then she hung up on me. When I called back an operator error said the number was not in service.
- Caller: unknown
- anonymusNo one said anything for about 30 seconds, then a mechanical voice said good-bye and hung up.
- JC| 1 replyThey called me this yesterday afternoon and I did not pick up; this called again this afternoon and I chose to answer. First, the woman's English was not the greatest and proceeded to offer me insurance discounts from all the biggest auto insurance providers and I explained I had no need for car insurance as I like my provider. Meanwhile, in the background I could hear other agents doing the hard sell. I am in sales and I decided to have some fun with her. I asked what OTHER benefit could I deride from her product other than saving money? She was frustrated, kept repeating the same line about how I would save money if I allowed her to give me a quote; she sounded anxious and frustrated that I pushed back on her; she even mentioned the specific make and model of the vehicle I drove. Again, I explained I did not need it. I like my insurance provider. I then asked her if she spoke Spanish and she said she did not. Finally she hung up on me when she saw her sale was not gonna happen.

- FightbackThese people have been calling us several times a day for months. They call themselves (at least to us) American Diabetic Assistance. According to the Medicare fraud hotline this is a bogus phishing scam. When they call it is usually a woman with what sounds to me like a Pakistani/Arabic accent with the sound of many other scammers calling in the background.I activated selective call block with my phone company and it does not work, the number comes up all zeros. Except for one time when I got this number.I thought it might have been a scammer that decided to work from home but after reading the other posts I'm not so sure.Medicare hotline will do nothing other than list the complaint and the phone company can't stop it. They are not getting anything from us so why do those jerks keep calling?I got a sound effects box(toy/gag item) from Cracker barrel. When they call I hit the fax sound. Only now they are calling more often as harrassment I suppose. The authorities don't seem to care to really do anything. Like other posts they have gone"ape" on the phone at times. Tit for tat,say anything you want to them and go "ape" back if you feel like it.Get out some frustration. Are those criminals going to call the cops? No. So get creative and have some fun back with those scum.I have an idea. Many third worlders are very superstitious. When they call say you put a curse on them or something else scary in the paranormal subject. They are obnoxious and tenacious so maybe they can be scared off.Use your imagination. We're not getting any help from the"authorities" so do what you can.
- Check out my post replies to JCAccording to other posts on other sites regarding this bogus company the "sell" diabetic supplies and even portray themselves as lost relatives needing money to go home. Of course they mostly target the elderly. I just got another call asking if anyone in my household was diabetic to which I said they had erronious information and then wanted to ask me questions. Before she got started I heard a very loud white guy voice bringing to attention that someone just made 3 "sales" followed by applause. So this operation probably is in northern virginia.
- Dee FlReceived this call this A.M. Person said name was Danny and calling about Medicare. Call # back not a working #
- JimwHow can I block this number? Have received call from this number 3 or 4 times
- JimwHow can I block this number? Have received call from this number 3 or 4 times
- LizaIf you have caller id, there is no reason to even answer if you don't recognize the number. They can just keep callling forever and I won't answer. I only answer numbers I recognize. If I ever have a doubt about a number, I look it up on the Internet.
You do not have to let this situation make you miserable, just get caller id and don't answer.- Caller: from Reston, VA
- CecilI have got few call nerver got any answered. I am on a no call list. Going to report after reading all of this
- FightbackIt's not just a matter of not answering the phone. Even if you don't answer, the phone still rings. And they ring and ring until someone answers or your machine is filled up with annoying deadspots and thier pitch. Call block doesn't work at least with my phone system. Even if you did block this number they have many others they use. I am the primary caregiver for my father who is bedbound with dementia. He has me up through the night and often when they call it's in the morning when I need my sleep. Sometimes I take the phone off the hook but that stops other sometimes important calls. That's why if you read my previous post I talk about fighting back with scare tactics and etc.

- 'thinker| 1 replyOkay..Here's what we do with these twits.. Everyone make up a flyer, advertise that you are closing up a business and have 200 computers that you have to give away free before the bank takes them. then plaster this jerks phone numbe all over it.
Make 5-10 copies and pin it up on the boards ( make sure they are in very busy places).
Maybe if this twad is busy cleaning the mesages off of his phone he won't have as much time to call people ??
Other things that you could put on the flyer; 200 iphones, 200 ipads, ipods or ???
The trick is don't make the quanity to large..you want to create a frenzy..yeah !- Caller: unknown
