I told them congratulations you just called a police officers phone, he laughed and said what's your badge number, I said, not giving you any information, you are full of CRAP and a SCAM Artist, he said "get lost" and hung up on me.  How can they get away with this?  I feel bad for all the innocent people that fell for this and got cheated.

Message left on 5/11/15. Same IRS scam as always. Get this automated message that they are coming to get me at least once a week.

On May 11, 2015 (yesterday) I received five of these calls.  FIVE.  I never answer that line - I use an answering machine with an announcement that informs the caller that we screen all calls.  They've only left one message today, with a new callback number, same area code, which is in Virginia.  I'm well aware of what they're doing, that it is merely one of the many telephone scams that originate in India.  The (703) area code is spoofed.

There are tons of videos on You Tube by pranksters who have called back the number provided and played with them.  Funny stuff, but I'm sure they are used to that.  Best course of action?  If you answer the phone, hang up.  If they leave a message on voicemail or a machine, delete it.  Don't think twice about it, and relax, it's just a scam.

Two automated phone calls within minutes of each other advising that (a) registered mail has been returned undeliverable and that (b) I owe taxes for failing to file or for filing a fraudulent tax return.  Obviously bogus.

got the same call on 5/5/15:  3 calls all the same over the course of the afternoon.  let the recorder pick it up.  Scammers all over the place!!
