If you get this an IRS call claiming you owe taxes or other tax issues and you did not get a letter from the IRS, then it is totally a scam. We need everyone to report this to the www.tigta.gov and complain to your member of Congress.

received a called from this stating problems with IRS and if I didn't comply they would turn over to the Sheriff's department and I'd be in serious terribly.

I'm in southern CA and I got the same call today, 3/30/15, from east Indian sounding people calling themselves Amy Brown and Steve Evans. Same exact story of tax evasion, coming for me with handcuffs, etc. etc.

I reported this to:  treasury.gov/tigta

I suggest that everyone do the same so we can catch these people!

Same deal as above. I called them back many times to bug them. Got three different names and badge numbers. Two of the badge numbers were the same for two different people. Amy Brown Badge #6598 and Lisa Jackson Badge #6588 then talked to James Brown Badge number 942901
