Wow, S 2007 has scoped out a broad range. I wasn't home but got a call from 703-961-1049, caller ID name S 2007, at 6:15pm Virginia time. Another resource shows it's a land based Verizon line in Centreville, VA

I wouldn't be surprised if it was a "political" call as S 2007 mirrors the format used to mark senate bills for each year (i.e., S 2007 would be the 2007th bill introduced in the senate this year). You probably already knew that. Number could belong to a staffer living in Centreville who works for a sponsor of that bill. Then again, it could be a PAC who thought that would be cute 'cause it is 2007.

This is a fake political "poll" by a very annoying and stupid republican candidate running for chairman of county board of supervisors in Fairfax County Virginia (Gary Baise). Call 703-534-1753 to reach the responsible party to ask them to stop calling. It took dozens of calls before I was able to hear enough of the message to figure this all out. I consider this a disinformation campaign and I do not think it should be afforded any exceptions to the do not call list. Just got this call in Ohio.

Received same call last night - did not answer - message on voicemail was "That's North Carolina for you" and hung up.

Called twice never leaves a message. Always busy. I live in NC if that helps anyone.

I have an Ames cell too, they left a messege about some candidate (Ron someone) and wanted me to attend the straw polls and support him. Yesterday they called three times, not messege, but this is ridiculous!

I am in NC. Got another call from S 2007 on Thursday Aug. 10.  No message, etc.....Don't know if it is political - I am in coastal NC - somewhat rural area.....

I've gotten several calls from this number on my cell phone.... no messages left and they seem to hang up early before I can get to the phone. BTW... I'm in Alabama...
