I got a robo call that said,  "Google has front page placement for your industry..."  I hung up.  Is this really Google?  It is highly annoying.

I got the scam robo call that said,  "Google has front page placement for your industry..."  I hung up. And nope this isnt really google. Google wouldnt make cold calls like this.

The company is 29prime and they have complaints all over the internet about the calls and misleading sales practices. If you're on the do not call registry, report them.

29 prime -----liars, cheats and thieves - they have individual reps all over the country on commission - not company employees, if you get any good out of their services - you will be the first

one thing they try to sell you, is a free listing that you can do your for free yourself- be warned

calling cell phones for telemarketing is illegal i believe - i have asked them to to stop to no avail

i now have a program, that completes blocks them from calling

Call back, press 1 1 to be added to the no call list.

I think this # and robo calls from 405-283-8500 are both from Prime 29.

Robo call "if you want your business to be listed on the front page of Google..." I hung up. Am getting a bunch of these calls lately. Wish someone would bomb their call center.

Don't be fooled - Calling back to get added to their "no call list" only removes you from one number, not from their entire list. In fact, what it does is verifies that your phone number is valid. It's just like spammers. Unsubscribing just gives them fuel to contact you again.

This company telemarkets and impersonate Google to resell an acclaimed service that puts your business to the top of search results.  When you pressed 1 to speak to an agent, the person on the other line said "we are a vendor of Google" as if they own Google's search engine.

Note: on the bottom of their website On there website http://www.29prime.com, there is a Do Not Call list that you can put your number in.  I did it, so far, they haven't call again... yet.

Since my number is a *business* number, the FTC does not have a system in place to protect business from unwated inbound telemarketing calls.  However, the FTC does have a complaint system for *home* or *cell* number, which doesn't really work unless there are at least several thousand complaints filed.

Company called 29 Prime. Got robocalls at both home and cell phone within 15 minutes one afternoon. I hit 1 when asked. After 2 minutes on hold, got a sales person. Asked him to take both numbers off the list. Then he asked if I'd be interested in SEO services, LOL!

The message referenced that it was about our Google account and then said to "Press one to update our Google listing."   Caused us a half a day of confusion trying to ascertain if it was legit or not since we have been recently working on our Google listing.

Rec'd call from 704-220-0645 -- person hung up w/o saying anything.  Googled the number and found that others have rec'd unwanted calls from this number,

Needless to say I did not.

I get a call saying to get free Google listing press 1. Once there I get a salesman trying to sell the listing at $99 per month! False advertisement point blank! They need to be sued!!

I googled the number to read the posts. I just now called the number back. I got a recording that said if I rec'd this call in error and would like to have my number removed press 1, if you would like to remove another number  press2. I called the number a gain to add my other number. hope this helps....

NO, it is NOT Google.  This fake sales pitch comes from cheaters who think that name dropping will give them credibility.  It does not.

The time-delayed voice said he was with google 411. Funny I can't find a company by that name on a google search, when they are supposedly in the SEO business. He had some other "facts" that were questionable also.

I was able to stop the calls a few months ago by faxing my request to 949-777-6616, but they started calling again.

I just got called from them too.  They claimed they were Google, but I had to ask 4 times to get the actual name of the company.  Here's their Google Places page.  Hurt them at their own game by giving them a bad review and answering "Yes" to all the "Was this review helpful?" questions next to the 1 star reviews.
