Got a call from 704-220-1738 at 6:30 last night. They called three times in a row. Have them blocked through Verizon. SCAM!!!

Got a call at about 2:45 pm.  This type of call is illegal in NC.  I am reporting the number to the Do Not Call website and to our state AG.  When I called the number back and tried to speak to a rep, I got a message that says, "the person at extension 0000 is unavailable......."

Got a call 06/06/13 11:49. Did not answer.

If congress would pass a bill that prohibits all robot calls unless the caller has the written permission of the individual they are calling with a fine of $1,000 for each call made and then give the FCC authority to enforce it through fines to the various telephone companies it would stop or at least reduce the unwanted robot calls.

I received a recorded message offering to install a home security system for free if I agree to let them put a sign in my yard.  The company name was not given.  I have gotten a number of identical messages in the past, probably from the same company.  My call was received on June 4, 2013 at 12:47 pm.  The caller's name was not given.  I have reported them on donotcall.gov. In the past I have had a number of identical recorded messages from various phone numbers for this service.

I think this number is connected with 203-538-0911, another free security system sales

This is a company that says if I would allow them to put a sign in my yard, they would put a free home security system in my home.  I already know that the system is free, but to use it there is a monthly charge!  They also state if you would like to be added to their " do not call list " to press "9". I pressed "9" and they called back in 10 minutes!

If you don't answer they'll just call again...and again. Do this: Answer the call, check that it's a real person and tell them to "please hold". Put the phone on hold or just lay it down for a few minutes. They will be gone  when you check the phone in a minute or so and word will get around about that number that says to "please hold" But the best part is that you'll feel really good for wasting some of their time.

Automated message.  Had about 20 calls over the last few months.

Where did they get the statistic that there are robberies in the neighborhood?.  How do we know if
they are trusted people?  Why would I have  them put up a sign......instead of just hiring a local
company?     I give their numbers to our police dept.

DNC listed from the beginning.. This number called me today.. thanks to 800 notes and google, I did not answer..  This number now goes in my block list.

Same story - security system free install with sign in the yard - I talked to them and let them go through their whole routine - found out it was ADT.  

Blocked and ditched number now.

My GoogleVoice blocked the call from ringing - thank you all for reporting who it was for me.

Last time these security guys called it ended up being a telemarketing company by the name of NACO Marketing and the installing company was not ADT. I found this out by scheduling the appointment and filing a complaint. When the security company arrived they ratted out the telemarketing company and then contacted the NC DOJ about my open do not call complaint so that they wouldn't get fined.

I'm telling ya, if you want the calls to stop we all have to schedule appointments and get the security companies to rat out the illegal telemarketers. These security companies don't know the company they hired to do telemarketing violates the law. If you waste their time by coming to your home they will stop using telemarketing service and the telemarketing companies will go out of business.

Got a call, persistent ringing.  No message.  Soo tired of the unsolicited out of state calls.
