Just answered a call from 705-444-1366 they asked for Larry. No Larry here and they hung up. Didn't try to sell anything. What's up with that???????

They start calling at 930 in the morning....for me to pick up and get silence on the other end...and nobody else i know here gets them....

I do not know who is caling, would like to stop.

Thanks to "Roach" post on October 5th, I clicked on the link he/she provided, phoned the 800 number on the site (Cranberry Resorts) which is (800)465-9077, dialled in ext 258 and spoke to Tim Fitzpatrick.  I told him I keep getting calls to which no one responds when you say Hello.  He asked for my phone # and said he'd take me off the list today.  I've been getting calls every 2 or 3 days.  In a week, I'll update this message to let you know how it went.

As promised in my Oct 26th post, here's an update: after calling them to have my phone # removed from the list, I haven't received any calls.

This number calls on almost a daily basis.  Most of the time during the day when I am at work.  Who do they expect is home everyday. Also on the weekends which if my time to unwind.  Regardless, it only rings twice (2X) and then hangs up.  This should be construed as criminal harassment.

I just got 4 calls within 15 mins. from this number.  They must have a tracking system when you call the back even if it just says "not in service"

who could we report these annoying calls to?  anybody know?

These call almost every day: 705-444-1366, 705-444-7768 & 705-444-2886 showing out of area.  I've called back each one & it says not in service...I say WTF too!!!

Same story.   They don't give up.   You know it is a telemarketer by the long pause before they are connected.   I can't say that I give them time of day.  Too many of these sort of calls happening these days and they certainly don't care at what time they bother you.

 Recieved call from these people today. Very annoying telemarketers.

From Collingwood. Said they were doing survey in our area and we could win a free trip. Said no thanks and hung up.

Getting the same numbers...705-444-1366,705-444-7768 and705-444-7855. If it is from collingwood I used to get these last year and actually got someone once. they where trying to "give" away 3 days at there resort and supposedly all you had to do was spend 2hrs a day at their seminar and the rest of the time was yours.  YA RIGHT!

this a...... never stop calling..it's been 6 months now...they call 2 times a day at least 3 times a week....i pick up once but thay ask for somebody else...they hang up....now I never answer the phone but they even call @9pm...WTF...I have small children so now, I take of the ring...and it's the answer machine who pick up...for sure they never leave a message...
So MF....IF U READ THAT STOP CALLING PEOPLE....We don't give a shite about ur business

Same number 705-444-7768 no one on the line and then it went dead, this is my second one for the day, the other recorded as 0000-0000-0000.

Please understand that these people if phishing, just being annoying or actual telemarketers have the ability to either steal other peoples numbers or use ficticous numbers including your own.

The best remedy is to keep calling the CRTC (Canada) and FCC (US), the telephone company you deal with and your MP or Senator who can lobby to stop this abuse and misuse of the communication media, otherwise it will just get worse...

I called the number and spoke to "Richard", he asked for a quote number. I asked him to remove me from the list, he did.

Lots of useless calls from 705.  I like to think of it as "Calling"wood (I almost wonder if some of these places have attempted to use that for subconscious effect).  Collingwood timeshares have been reported off and on for many years as a "scam" -- doesn't go as far as running afoul of the law, but is considered by some to involve psychological manipulation that's considerably more difficult to resist than a flat sales pitch.

Just received a call from 705-444-1366 Id is Law Cranberry.  I answered after 2 rings and no one there.

if you get various solicitation calls, it can be because the same people are calling, but the recordings get changed.
