The caller hung up as soon as I answered the phone. Caller ID said "Long Distance".

they called and there was no one there.

nobody on the other end

just called me today too, no one there.

Caller asked for Mr. <someone that had a similiar last name> and when I said "no", he said he'd call back later... I think he'd hung up before I had a chance to say it was a wrong number.

Calling the number back tells me that this number is not in service!

called twice, answering machine answered, they hung up.

Had a call from 1-705-444-7768 but there was no one at the other end and then it just hung up.....I have call display so i could verify the number, also checked it out on www.411.ca and did a reverse search, it came up with a line registered with Bell Canada but no other info....

got a call from 1-705-444-7768 at 8:45pm, no one left a message.  unsure as to what area this call is coming from.

This number has called about 20 times in the last month.  I never pick up because I don't recognize the number.  Today I called it back, and like someone else reported, I was told that the number is not in service.  I think this is disgusting that we all have been bothered by this caller and there's no way we can stop it!!

When I picked up a phone they asked if I am Mr. xxx (imaginary name). I said : wrong number.

I got numerous calls from this number, which I did't answer, the thing is they call at diferent times of the day, anyday and it is really anoying.I wish someone cam do something about it. I tried to call it back on time and the bell response system says that this number is not in service! How is that possible. I to beleive that this is disgusting that we have been bothered by this caller and there's no way we can stop it!!

Quite simply, if the call display does not show who you are or you are calling on an 800 number, nobody in my household will answer.  If you are legitimate, then why do you hide who you are.  It should be legislated that calls of this nature should be required to identify who they are. To me it is no different than someone knocking on my door trying to sell me something.  I simply say no thank you and close the door.

I started to get those calls too... The area code belongs to Barrie. I have never picked it up, because i don't know anybody from that area code...but it is sort of freaky

got a call from 705-444-7768......the caller asked to speak with Mrs ( my surname )asked who am talking to the caller said he will call back in the evening,i repeated may i know who is speaking please!! the caller said Richard, i then asked Richard from where??  he replied Richard from Work. but something about the way he answered me told me there is something fishy about the caller.tried calling the number back...heard the line is not in service.
looked up the number at www.411.ca the caller appears to be from Collinwood ON.

I get calls from this number frequently too and yes it's annoying. If I'm home I hit talk then off buttons right away. I have no intent to talk to them. See if they like that. I guess they didn't like it today as they called twice now.

i get calls from this number ALL the time, and i agree it is annoying!!!! sometimes at like 7 in the morning...that's ridiculous! but i'm glad its not only me!
if anyone finds out a way for this to stop please let us know!

i tried calling back and got the same thing.
next time they call i'm going to say that i've reported this number to the police and if they call again i'm gonna answer and just keep pressing the number buttons to annoy them !!! haha childish but that's the only thing we can do since they annoy us!

I got a call from 1-705-444-7768 and he asked to speak with (my full name) and then I asked who is calling, then he hang up the phone.
feel like he fishing my name and phone number may find Credit information or something else..
let's call the police!!!
