Just got a call from this number - these people said there was a complaint filed against my name and ssn. Knew it was a scam.

I received the same call. Asked them not to hang up on me and to listen to me. I told them to take me off the list and while I am talking telling them I have received calls and don't want to they just hang up.

They called me too - They were giving me a shuck and jive about my computer being full of viruses and I told the woman I didn't care.   She says to me "You don't care about your computer?"  I said - "No - I couldn't care less!"   She was lost - had no idea what to respond with !  Bwahahaha!

So true. They called and told me that my computer had a virus and that my info was compromised. Said my windows was vulnerable. I told them I had a Mac and they were like, "um, okay, well do you need virus protection? You don't have a PC?"

I've been getting several calls from this number the past few days, there is no one there except a recorded voice that eventually says "goodbye". When I call the number back a recording says "welcome to the Walmart Gift Card hotline, to claim your card press 1" or something to that affect, which I have not done. What a nuisance though!!!!!

Scammer calls from 706-229-8665 saying they are getting errors from my computer.  Heavy accent.

When they called us, they said that they had received a notification that somebody was hacking our computer and personal information was at risk. I played along, and they said goodbye without asking for any information. I'm not saying that they're not a scam, but they aren't as pushy as other scammers I've encountered.

Chris from "Debt Free Network" calling on behalf of Huron Law Group, www.huronlawgroup.com, in Bingham Farms, Michigan, selling debt settlement programs. The Huron TSR claimed she was not selling anything, just providing information, which is baloney.  Chris probably calling from India, based on accent.

Just had a call from this number,  a man with an East Indian accent in a noisy call centre. Not sure if he said he was calling from Microsoft but as soon as he mentioned computer error messages, I told him to stop trying to rip people off and that if he ever called back, I'd report him to every authority between here and wherever he was. Then I hung up without waiting for a response from him.

I also received a call and when I checked my computer ... it actually was crashed. I fell for the call and actually gave them access to my son's computer to "help" fix my problem. I am so upset with worry with what information they have and what damage they can do.  Ughhhhh, I thought I was smarter than that to fall for this!

call  my cell many times a day but leave no message. can we stop it? and how?

Today the "Technical Support Center" for Microsoft Windows calls, male caller had Indian accent, hung up when I asked for his street address in NYC.  Called # back, it was the Walmart/Target $100 card line. Multiple scammers.

they called my land line just now, adding their number to my phone spam list

I just got a call from them 5 minutes ago, this time after I said Hello for a second time a man with a thick Indian accent says hello, so I tell him I don't know who you guys are, but I have gotten over 20 calls from you people in the past couple of days and I want my number removed from your list, then he hung up. They are making me crazy! Calling all hours of the day, at least 2 or 3 times a day!!

These people call me  2-4 times a day, sometimes there is a person on the other end, other times there is not. I have repeatedly told them to stop calling and remove my number from their list. If I wanted whatever they are selling I would contact them. What can I do to get them to stop calling me?

I just got a call from a woman who sounded from india. She wanted to know if we'd tried to download apps recently and if we had trouble. I said if we had trouble we'd call Microsoft ourself and hung up!

They called me on feb 7nth, and I put them on hold.
in the local newspaper a guy followed their directions and they used remote connection to his computer and turned his screen off, so his screen went blank and then they wanted $350. by credit card to turn it back on.  IT IS FRAUD and a SCAM and if you tell them you don't have a computer , they might not call back. or tell them you have reached an agent of the federal government the call is being traced and a drone is being dispatched to dispatch you , they might hang up.

told them to hold please , I have to get to my computer and put the phone next to a radio, about 15 minutes later they hung up.
