Received a call at about 7:30 pm on Friday on my private line (which only 2 people have access to) and caller asked for a Cleo Howard and told me to get out of the house now.  Lady says her name is Joann, she's very hard to understand. Called back later in the evening a couple times and it went to a music tone and no pick up or voicemail system. Just called back today - because I found the whole call odd (I was on a ghost tour when the call came in initially, so you can imagine how bone chilling it was). Seems like a scammer.

706-247-7196 called this am, Sunday, Caller ID showed 'private name' which should have been a warning, but since I have family on area code 706 I answered. The caller could not speak English well and it was difficult to understand her but she did say she was calling because I was on their website for 365 something. I told her she has no right to check to see whose website I was on and she was invading my privacy. I asked her who gave her permission ton check on what I did on my computer and she hu7ng up. The first call I have received from this number and I have no idea of who they are. I am so sick of unwanted calls that I am tempted to throw my phone out the back door.

No need to do that. This is likely a case of the caller doing enough homework so they spoof a number that increases their chances of getting an answer. Are you more likely to take a call from a ridiculous looking number, or one that appears to be from close by? There's also no need to accuse them of invading your privacy. This is often the first part of a pitch when odds are favorable no website is involved in the first place (ask what site, they probably won't be able to tell you). It's simply a way to get your attention so you listen to a bogus offer. As for the rest of your unwanted calls, make sure you're not answering mystery numbers in any way. You can often tire them out if they're only getting a ringing phone when they call you. Be patient and you'll likely cut back on the amount of junk calls you get.

theyve been calling the crap out of me too.  alot of times noone speaks or they hang up.  I also had done something with Lending Tree so maybe it's them.  I'd block it or ignore it til you need a loan, haha

Blocked, you've heard the song " Keep knocking, but you can't come in. My song to these guys are "Keep calling, but, you can't get through. Lol, hahaha.

I got a call on a phone of mine that has no service at all. How could that be. I believe the phone companies has something to do with this problem. Somebody should clear this up real quick

Me too. Ever since I applied through Lending Tree for an auto loan, I've been getting a ton of calls/texts/emails from unknown (and unverifiable) numbers about all kinds of loans and trips/prizes I've won. This call is #2 for today. It's been fairly quiet. :) The only valid car dealership through Lending Tree ran my credit before I ever spoke with them and are now hounding me. NEVER use Lending Tree! They sell your information.

I got the same call from 365 Resources after I applied for an auto loan through Lending Tree. I'm not sure how they equate auto loan with mortgage. I don't plan on living in my car. I've blocked 3 numbers from them so far.

They call and stay on the line with No answer and, if you call them back the same

They keep calling me claiming to be from a rent to own agency.. Total scam.. Now I've been receiving emails about loans and prizes and credit card.. So annoyed

I applied for a car loan and was approved,but they must have sold my info to this' annoying company! Now they call at least 3 times a day.7

I have received 3-4-5 calls in the last two months from '365 Resources' - apparently I have spoken to one of their colleagues about wanting a buy a townhome!    Then two more calls all starting with "one of my colleagues let me know that you are interesated in purchasing a town home"!  They don't even ask where you currently live or where this supposedly townhome may be.   This morning I received another call from this fabulous company, saying that one of their colleagues told them I am interested in purchasing a vehicle!  Isn't this good to know, I had no idea I am interested in townhomes and new vehicles.  When I asked them where they got their information from and what data company, as it's completely wrong, they hung up.  I called the number back, traced it to a Wilmington, NC number, which belongs to someone at Wilmington Airport,. nothing to do with 365 anything.  So it appears they also use other people's numbers to call you, therefore rendering them untraceable and one can't take this to a harrassment suit or police station, etc.  365 credit, 365 resources, they are looking to find financing details and to steal, I assume.  Beware.

365 Resources is what the company I DIAL U uses as their company name. They get leads when people fill out info online.

Received a text from 700life.net. A quick bit of research revealed their "headquarters" is a UPS store at 28150 N Alma School Rd Scottsdale Rd, AZ 85262. Along with the Georgia based 706 number.
