This is Verizon Wireless financial department!

I got a phone call from this number it said if I was this person press 1 then it ask for my four digit passcode for verizon dont do this I am sure its going to do something or take your cell phone info to get you ripped off DONT CALL THIS OR DO THIS

This number is Verizon Wireless. All I had to do was enter my zip when the automated line if I was "blah blah blah." I did so and it just wanted to check to see when i was going to pay my bill because it was due a few days ago. All I had to do was press one if I would be making a payment in the next 7 days, which I will and that was all there was to it. No personal info or anything. No scam and easier than talking to a person!

good to know!  Now I know I won't answer it!  I wrote Verizon a 2 page complaint and told them if they did not HONOR their word than we would not HONOR our contract!  Which basically has to do with upgrade fees they lied about, employee discount only applying to main access not each phone access, etc.. etc..  I told them NOT to call me but to contact me by mail or email.  So now I know they can't read either!

A word of advice, when ever you send anything to a business, send it certified mail. That way they can't say they didn't get it..

Verizon Automated collection, just late on paying my monthly bill.

This is a phishing scam posing as Verizon Financial Services. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!!! It seems very legitimate but it is not. If you don't believe me, ask them what phone number the charges pertain to. They will give you a wrong number. Ask them why your online account shows a $0 balance, they will say that is "a glitch in the system". Ask them the date of your last payment or the amount. They won't know. This is 100% fake. PLEASE DON'T GIVE THEM ANY INFO!!! I almost fell for it. I told them I would call back after asking my husband why the bill would be late. When I called the main Verizon line, guess what.... They had no clue what I was talking about. My account had a $0 balance and I owed nothing. They then assured me that this is a scam that they are trying to stop. The calls come from a different number each time and they call constantly. This is a scam. Please don't become a victim.
