scam about "medicare"

I got a call today 10/10, left no voicemail. Said call was from Calistoga, CA. Uhg, please stop these annoying calls.

Since I have seen this number come in before from Calistoga, CA I answered. The person said she was calling for Medicare. Said his company was Central Medical Supply.Said they were calling to update my medicare information--said that I see you have lower back pain. They call, I don't answer, no message, I wonder why they bother???

Caller ID: Calistoga CA

Called AGAIN today. Obviously a scam. On the other hand, if "Central Medical Supply" is a valid company (there are lots with this name), then they are making cold calls in DIRECT VIOLATION of the DNC list and it would be very easy for the FTC to get them.

Then again, previous calls have been identified as "SPAM?" by Verizon (but not blocked). Now Verizon is no longer identifying it as "SPAM?". Wonder why?

On the bright side, still disconnected after one ring by the service whose name shall not be used here.

blocked, no one i know and no message left

Scammers, pretending they are from the government, and they tell me that they KNOW I have lower back pain. I told him I have no idea where he got that info, and hung up on him, had a heavy accent.

A V.... number indicates an automated dialing system (ROBO) usually used by telemarketers (and scammers) in order to automatically dial hundreds of numbers in a day.

Caller ID showed:  CALISTOGA CA.  Don't know who it was.  My landline is protected by a call blocker unit. They didn't follow the instructions from my call blocker so it blocked the call automatically.

Same here, i got the same info on caller ID and I didn’t answer and they left no message

Called ( with my name and address) saying it was a call from Medicare.  Heavy mideast accent. Told him to go to  and hung up  and blocked number
